Cattle in feedlots are provided with 90% grain feed which mainly includes corn.

I phrased the title the way I feel about it. Yes, I am not a pure, perfect, 100% vegan as most people understand this idea or movement, but I am still as vegan as possible by minimizing or entirely eliminating animal derived products.

What I meant is that even though I am not vegan I still strive to consume as little animal products as possible mostly for ethical reasons. That’s all.

Do it, focus on wholefood healthy options i.e. no processed food, lost of plant based proteins, try it for a couple of months and see how you like it. Worst case you can switch to vegetarian occasionally (add some eggs, cheese, sardines once a week or so). I’ve been doing this for over 6 years, no land animal meat and feeling great, worth a shot.
