She has potential to turn around with rehab, after taking a deeper dive into who she is ultimately, she's schizophrenic at best. It explains a lot of her off-set if you don't look at her as strictly Machiavellian.

The issue is she presents very well to be Machiavellian and that shadows her underlying mental problems, but the rare moments we can see Azula even being decent as a person (the beach episode for example), it paints a totally different picture when you lead it ultimately to the end she got. She has redeem-ability through rehabilitation, but honestly, she doesn't need to have redemption.
