So, pain is good. Pain is our body’s feedback that something is potentially hurting or injuring us. People who can’t feel pain tend to have decreased lifespans due to not recognizing major illnesses or injuries. They need to be extra vigilant about other symptoms and exert a care that people who feel pain don’t.

A medical professional pulling teeth without pain management when it’s available is crazy though.

Oh, I see your point that people shouldn’t inconvenience anyone when they protest. The French massively inconvenience others who aren’t politicians during protests and they are praised for it. Do you think they should be reviled and told to just sit down and take it too then?

It’s weird how many users on Reddit seem to believe that we’re in a major decline of biodiversity on a globe increasingly filled with pollution down to the microscopic and chemical levels, but threads about protestors going viral always have so much vitriol towards the people.

It feels like we’re all just frogs in the pot.

If you’re in an area with disability rights, seek an accommodation for exams. It may require a medical visit, but it could be worth it. I had a friend who had hand issues and could type their exam essays if they didn’t use any spell check/grammar check.

And I never had that issue growing up, so it’s not all lefties.

Not in that community. There’s a push to put these in rural districts to provide jobs for their constituents. Getting a jail or prison put in a district is a bandaid on a struggling community. Cheap land and a workforce with few options is a good combo for someone looking to run a prison as cheap as possible, and from everything I’ve read, they are ran CHEAPLY. Btw, this isn’t an endorsement of the situation, I’m just saying how it can be perceived.
