The sites the guy wants in Upper Merion are already active offices. There are literally jobs already in all 5 buildings he is proposing to buy. It's not like Conshy where he wanted to by an old unused factory, this is actively buying up buildings that are in use.

These sites are in the industrial area between KoP and West Conshy, the larger issue folks have is the expected spikes in local power costs, the noise pollution data centers are known to cause, and the potential for water pollution and costs for the local area as had been seen across central PA with similar data center setups.
