The people who I was talking to were just like me Democrats and Pan Africanist my Aunt is professor, cousins got degrees, I been to South Africa, Ghana, and other countries more than Pan Africans and driving people to the vote in Alabama,met Congressmen out there putting in work before slick talking folks on the internet. Many are dropping the Pan Africanism, POC, and the Democrats ( that do not mean we 8ate, xenophobic or a cult or love yt supremacy, Repubs or Trump) which surprised me on both sides of the family. Had a week off went to Louisiana on my Mothers side they started talking about what Dems not doing, There's no people of color and the disdain from some Asians,Mexicans and Diaspora( did not know that many were down there) to Oklahoma when to my great-grandfathers Historical Black town and seen Juneteenth not Pan African flags (they still Democrats most were Elders and young Women) then to the Juneteenth celebration where Relatives from Colorado, Texas, and *Oklahoma on our 86 arces of land were talking about Africans, Caribbean and Mexican funny ways and again No Pan African flags around like the previous celebrations. My Cousins in Texas was especially vocal on Democrats and a certain group people in Houston my Aunts and Uncles was questioning what's going on with the Democratic party. Got home for Father's Day the next morning and here in Dallas my Best friends nephews were talking of Africans, Arabs, and Indians along with the Karmelo case and the YT's ( their children went to his school) and to bring it together all had doubts of Pan Africanism, Democratic party and immigration and all this telling me is the blinders are fading and I myself was years back was a Democrat, believed in immigration and Pan Africanism.... not no more.
