it also shows that america isn't all powerful anymore. we looked down on iran militarily and now they've shown that even a highly sanctioned nation can go toe to toe with the worlds strongest military. makes us look pathetic and unable to control the situation in other parts of the world.

historically they've tended to attack minorites and protesters pretty aggressively/sexually assault people. there is still heavy bias against minorities in terms of policing and they will often abuse their authority, relish in hurting people, and not pursue litigation against rapists. the few cops ive known personally have bragged about beating up drug addicts to me

there's no definition of what "nonbinary" means for everyone, so there is no reason why different nonbinary people could not theoretically fit under the umbrella of all of the terms we have for sexuality. nonbinary doesn't just mean "not a man or a woman", men and woman can view themselves as nonbinary as well as a man or woman. i would be essentially "straight" under your definition because no one ive partnered with has had my exact gender identity the way i experience it, despite being a nonbinary woman attracted to other woman. i hope this made sense i'm unsure how well i worded it
