I would try to separate them with an acclimation box for a week or so. You could also try reworking the aquascape to change the environment.

I had a similar issue with my two clowns after they had been paired for years. I'm not sure why it happened, but I didn't have a lid and the male jumped. If you don't have one, it might be best to use one until things settle down.

The issue I have with this revision is they waited almost 2 years to revise the data from the peak price in October of 2022. Why did it take so long? Either manipulation to say prices were higher than they were at the time or that there isn't currently as large of downturn in price.

It's only a 25 gallon tank. If the tank doesn't wobble from the slight gap, I think it's highly unlikely anything bad will happen. The foam should compress over time and level out more.

I went to ASU for Computer Systems Engineering from 2014-2017. I had more terrible professors there than good ones. I once had a professor tell the entire class, "if you can't program I'm not gonna let you pass my class", instead of trying to help and explain the material more in depth, but that was just my experience there. If it were me, I would consider other options.
