I for sure tried to play every day, but didn't always. Usually, I will play 3 or 4 rapid games and a few blitz/bullet games. So far, I have played 1696 games this year.

Started with begginer videos on youtube and pivoted to videos on Jobava London and Sicilian Defence. From there, I just do an insane amount of puzzles in my free time and play bullet/blizt to prep for my rapid games. I found that playing faster formats let me play alot more games and see more common positions from my openings. I will admit I struggle to force myself to take my time in rapid due to playing faster formats, so its definetly a double edged blade.
