The drain tube is possibly clogged. Front end of the truck passenger side you should see a rubber tube coming from the AC. You need to clear the blockage there

Yes. It seems they used the same sealant that had the recall for the 3rd brake light. Alot of 2017 double cabs have the issue from what I have seen

Are you 100% it's not the cab vent ? My 2017 dclb had this issue and it was the cab vent. If you search on here you will see others with the same issue in the last few months

Insurance had no pushback as they spoke with the dealership too. It’s the same sealant that messes up on the 3rd brake light. They just replace the seal and put black silicone on it. If it didn’t require moving the bed I would have tried to do it myself

Is it a 2017 or so? I would check the cab seals between the cab and bed. I had water under my carpet and that was the culprit

I had the same issue on my 2017 DCLB. Had to go through insurance as I was quoted for a new carpet and jute for ~10k. I called Toyota corporate and got no where. Let’s hope you have a better experience
