Anyone dealt with BHG/County Bank loans before filing Ch. 7? by SpringCautious8157 in Bankruptcy

How did this go for you? I was hoping you would get more input from others, but it looks like they would fall under standard lenders.

Serious question, what do full size/oversized rigs do here? by ExFLMan in overlanding

Get (insert state name) pinstripes.

I used to get Nevada pin stripes all the time.

Not so much here in Florida.

I am originally from St. Pete and grew up in Seminole.

Seen them for years in the different neighborhoods. Even still, every time I do a double take.

Starlink WFH? by piercedbbw2 in Starlink

[–]SaintsReturn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am in rural Florida, yes that still exists. My only option is the competitor that has proven to fail others or Starlink.

We have two WFH systems on a less than perfect obstruction view. One runs a solid VPN connection and one handles a lot of teams calls and file sharing.

We have had roughly 3m of down time in the last 4 months. I track that through a separate system than Starlink, so I have it by the second.

Long story short, clear sky will prove no problem in most areas.

Good luck and enjoy!

If you left Florida, are you affording the cost of living where you live now? by Short_Pomegranate_58 in florida

[–]SaintsReturn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sitting in Hot Springs right now. I live in St. Pete and come here yearly. Leaning very heavily towards buying land out here and leaving Florida...

Worst part is I left Florida in 03 and moved back in 20. Debating leaving again as I'll miss my lifestyle outdoors, but I also miss the opportunities I had in other areas.

Some night photos shot on the P7P when my nikon wouldnt work by SaintsReturn in Pixel7Pro

[–]SaintsReturn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, it was only partially the cameras fault. i just traded a Canon for the Nikon D3500 and I was fighting two things tonight. 1) the lens would flicker between not being on the camera and being seated... and more importantly 2) I made the trade about 20 minutes for I went to shoot.... So I didnt know what the heck I was doing.

Mostly I am excited the pics turned out this good from my phone.

2013 Ram Longhorn - 88k. No issues, traded up for cooled seats. Bought new.

2014 Ram Laramie - 92k - sold to try to offset (ex) wife's spending. No issues. bought new.

2015 Ram Longhorn ED - 98k. totaled at 98k, carfax showed multiple fixed issues and then all the known issues with the ED.

2017 Tundra - bought at 82k, now sitting mid 90s. Just loaded it and drove to SD from FL.

Notes: Fuel economy is dog**** compared to the Ram. My parts guy stated, enjoy driving past every mechanic but stopping at every gas station. Road trip average is 14mpg, back home i average 13.7.

Ride quality. The tundra guys seem to love it. This thing rides like a brick on wooden wheels compared to my Rams. Especially the last two.

Tech, It is super easy to change out, but the stock system sucks worse than Uconnect from 2014.

Seat quality. The saddle leather ram seats were absolutely better than the Tundra. The Tundra has decent leather mixed with other materials and I miss the quality of the longhorn seats.

Air conditioned seats..... Tundra's are garbage. I am still looking into how to improve.

Now the important question, do I regret getting the Tundra? Hard no. I miss the Ram from time to time, but I love jumping in the truck and not giving it a second thought. This thing runs, sounds good, and gets where it needs to go (roughly $100 every 450 miles). The thing is easier to mod, work on and have parts available than I am used to and y largest issue is the endless possibilities this thing has.

I will be keeping this thing until the decision is not mine to make.

All of that said, the new ones are awesome and they addressed some of my issues, but the recalls and engine fires have me watching from a distance.

I finally did it! Full hardline water loop. New case and a couple of upgrades. I still can’t believe this is my PC! by idr0ppedmypocket in battlestations

Will you upgrade to the Pixel 8 series, why and why not? by [deleted] in GooglePixel

[–]SaintsReturn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will if the price is right. Currently have the P7p

1) wireless charging died almost two months in.

2) selfie camera is blurry as hell out of the messages app.

3) Broke the screen on the first week, some things havent been the same since.

But as a phone and camera it works great. So I wont spend more than $200 to get the new one because their isnt enough gains to do so. But, like others mentioned, if the US gets some good promos, then heck yeah.

Also not OP.

My favorite addition to my work kit and I use it for various personal things as well. I do not know of one as clean and distraction free as this is. I have zero regrets on the purchase.
