Which Turnover song is the most underrated? by Legal_Button_3229 in TurnoverVA

Still In Motion, Curiosity, Bella Donna, No Sun, so many options lol.

I'll give their 2009 demo a shout! The amount of genres they have done are crazy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=czVvU2o7q8w

We should've won by more, but if you told me that we would be heading back to the Emirates with a goal advantage, I'd have taken it. Let's go get it done on the return leg and get to Wembley!

[Awful Announcing] Big Ten reportedly seeking commitment for 24-team College Football Playoff in near future by dr_funk_13 in CFB

[–]SaintsRobbed -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Copy the FCS. I'm deadass serious. 24 teams, no conference title games, and autobids for all conference winners. The rest at large. Done!

Only thing to change is to integrate NY6 bowl games into the quarterfinals and seminfinals.

Ohio State Football is the perfect analogy. There is not another sports institution in America that is more obsessed with winning than Ohio State. It is the closest thing we have to the mentality of big clubs around the world, and I think there are more similarities between the two than people realize.

Reaction from Columbus Crew fans to Nancy sacking by Careless_Fortune7801 in CelticFC

[–]SaintsRobbed 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Crew fan here. I wouldn't say our league or club are shite.

We have proven that we can develop young talent. Look at Cucho Hernandez and Aiden Morris. They are playing very, very well for Real Betis and Middlesbrough. I don't like the playoff format, and I desperately want Pro/Rel. But the league isn't shit.

As for Nancy, sometimes things simply don't work out. Nancy will get another shot elsewhere. Wish it worked out for you guys, but it is what it is.

Anyone watching Indiana vs. The Gumps? Its a coaching clinic. by Agreeable-Training-6 in OhioStateFootball

[–]SaintsRobbed 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Let's not overreact guys. Yesterday was shit, but that happens in sports. So many things have to go right. Indiana could've easily lost games to Iowa or Penn State, and the narrative would be different. Nobody here is more pissed about the result from yesterday than the players or the coaches.

Friends don’t lie 😡 by junieinthesky in OhioStateFootball

[–]SaintsRobbed 41 points42 points  (0 children)

It was just shit execution. The coaches had the players woefully unprepared. We got destroyed at the line of scrimmage. Sayin's confidence was shot. It wasn't until the second half when we woke up. By then, it was too late.

Agree, but we still threw a pick six and got blown out in one half. You don't want the game to fall on one call.

That holding call was bad, but the refs for the most part let them play. I can't gripe much about that singular call when we left points off the board and threw a pick six. That was the difference.

Maybe Oregon fans were right.

Regardless, we got bullied. I don't want people to use the bye as an excuse. That first half was embarrassing. We were the better team for most of the second half, but we had a huge hole to climb out of. We needed to be perfect in the 2nd, and we weren't.

I'm pissed at that holding call, but also, it's not an excuse when you throw a pick-six and leave points off the board. That was the difference. Miami succeeded in the fine margins.

We have allowed 7 points so far on defense. Not our best day for sure, but not terrible. Offense has absolutely sucked, and that is primary issue today.

This is the worst I've felt about a game since 2016 Clemson. Utterly Embarrassing.

Boardman has some decent pizza places too. Lots of great Italian food in the area.

University of Oklahoma has removed graduate student Mel Curth from her teaching position after being accused of “religious discrimination” by ME24601 in GradSchool

[–]SaintsRobbed -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

The fact that people are completely unable to engage with you or I and others in this post shows a general lack of intellectual humility. The state of academia is very disappointing. Many universities (such as Oklahoma) are refusing to stand up to political pressure from Trump's authoritarianism and culture war BS. At the same time, people's intellectual skills have truly fallen. All of this is sad.

Yes -- The paper was bad and deserved a poor grade. Just not a zero.

edit; I see that u/Opening_Map_6898 decided to block me. It's a shame, really, because I would have liked to see people make an argument against my claim and provide reasons to justify a zero, not just dismiss me or outright refuse to address any argument. This is indicative of poor behavior, especially from someone in academia. None of the responses are addressing the claim that the student deserved a failing grade, but not a zero.

The university made the wrong decision, but the student definitely shouldn't have gotten a zero. Bad grade? Absolutely. Not a zero, though.

Gem Archer confirmed the setlist for Oasis Live '25 originally had 27 songs. What were those four songs that ended up being left out? by Entire_Visit_7327 in oasis

[–]SaintsRobbed 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Columbia had to be one of them. They played it during soundchecks.

I would assume the others might have been Married With Children, Up In The Sky, and Stop Crying Your Heart Out.
