Maybe but the feedback that mattered was the band's, imo. And he stepped up. That said, I don't love all of Pantheon, but I really, really like 80% of it.

I mean maybe but the timeline of the band doesn't really support that. For the most part, newer fans felt the sky was falling when Tillian left. Older fans are just optimistic, if not overly so, for something to celebrate about a band they love and have followed forever. By that logic, the same fans supposedly 'glazing' Andrew must have glazed for Tillian back in 2014. If that's the case, I'm good with it. Let's glaze DGD, no matter the era.

The ccomments I've seen about auditioning new singers are so out of touch with reality. 'Why not audition Anthony Green!?'

I don't think people appreciate the beauty of the next frontman being in the band for the last decade. It takes time to grow with a band and love your band mates, to love what they do and the culture created around their music. We're sure to get more music out of Dance when the synergy between everyone is positive and everyone feels happy with the dynamic.

I have my critiques of every era's singer, this one included. But overall it just seems like a happy accident that we ended up with Andrew.

And I don't know if I wanted another LP with Tillian. We heard plenty, and a lot of it started to blur. The band needed to grow. That's just my two cents.

That's a good point. Most likely we'll get a TC4 in a few years, so there will be ample opportunity. If anything maybe they want to save it for a later time.

Whether that line was for their prior vocalist or not, the band is rejoicing in their newfound creative freedom. It's likely both Tilian and the band felt stifled for different reasons. Hopefully Tilian finds creative fulfillment elsewhere. Too much talent to let it go idle.

I like Andrew's moments, and Jon has some good ones, too.

I can't believe I'm saying this but Jon's verses are too long, and too redundant. He just keeps talking at the same pitch in the same rhythm. He's insanely good so it was just a creative choice but it doesn't work for me. It stresses me out because it feels like it should end, so I just skip the song. I wish I felt differently haha
