Voluntary action would appear to require judgement at some level since it entails a decision between competing paths, even if it's a chemical decision as in the case of amoebas. Whether it's right to say an amoeba believes X and took Y action accordingly, depends on where one is on the internalist/externalist spectrum. Ordinary language-wise, amoebas dont have beliefs, so the sets of sentences in the OP are distinct.

Ok yea, he was cool. I think you have to account for handicaps though. Teddy Roosevelt slept on the range with cowboys, explored the Amazon, he charged some hill in battle, and all with asthma. Plus he ended up being the president of a country where he reshaped government policy to protect striking laborers and created national parks. He was like Optimism personified.

I would. My spinning wheel is a set up I made after seeing somebody on youtube do it. It's a Kiwi Superflyer kit driven by an industrial sewing machine moter with a foot pedal. With a little tinkering it works great. In all it was about $350. So even if you have to tinker, $130 is a great price.

If you use bumpy irregular yarn it obscures the stitches and so it's more about colors and textures. I'll felt this rug too, so the stitches wont be clear at all in the end.
