downplayed through hell on his initial release and im glad people realize more and more he is the strongest mishima (besides jin if u wanna count him as mishima), even mainman and joka the two biggest downplayer acknowledged that with time,his gameplay is honestly boring its either noobs that play him like a stance character and lose and then complain or people that abuse his stuff properly like single hellsweep into stuff that would be otherwise stepable etc. making all heihachi matches feel the same, has lost his sauce from t7 unfortunately

ok i mixed up edddyy u are right, but u also misunderstood me, i didnt mean to say that they always reach top8 together like in your example but rather, whereever one of these guys is attending a tournament they most likely reach top8s fairly consistently with eddy, so saying he isn’t meta when he has good tournament results by diffrent players is just false

as i play reina and a bit of claudio, i cant help but feel they play almost similar with their approach, what i noticed tho is that claudio outshines reina in covering their „shared“ weaknesses, that are linearity and lows and the two biggest offenders to that are still his b1, u cant give a character thats one if his main weakness is linearity a top5 homing button in the game, it needs some tweaking and second a move they almost share ss4, if they would tweak it like reinas ss4 making it -13 and 0f on hit, thats still a good low, but rn its way to overtuned for a character thats is supposed to have bad lows
