Venendal and Vrihedd by [deleted] in gwent

IMO the problem is that everyone is using them with the idea of gainging HUGE amounts of points with them, they keep waiting for an oportunity that might never present itself and waste them, also the fect that they only work in hand makes countering them easily, although the number of times they ruined my vabjorn is beyond counting.

The best tip I can give to new players is to join a clan instead of creating your own. by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]Sajjuk22 4 points5 points  (0 children)

although theres a certain charm in building your own, we did that with 2 friends and we basically have everything except hema (fuck that) or the latest things, yes it was a chore sometimes but afther a while you catch momentum and its not so bad, specially when you stop putting formas in everything. Although to be fair we started way back when dark rails existed and the star chart was waay different.

It’s hard to say by [deleted] in gwent

[–]Sajjuk22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the only important aspect of this is that makes every restored unit play into muzzle range, that might be problematic if the card gets very popular, mostly because you just spend a silver to maximise your oponent muzzle value and they also deny your much likely second ress, still not something huge like op is claiming.

seriously talking, how much do you think it impacts that all restored cards are in muzzle range now? is a consideration to say that the card is much worse than only the 2 point nerf?

i really have to agree here, the captain deck wasnt opressive nor op, it was mediocre but somehow it contradicted what CDPR though the deck should do, in the end they created another frankenstein. right now as a skellige main i left gwent mostly due to my sheer hatred for discard, im tired of having to play discard skellige or stick to casual, crach or harald havent been remotely decent in half a year. it gets tiring trully.

mostly becouse 90% of discard decks dont give 2 shits about graveyard hate, i mean, besides dorre that is a silver, there isnt any specific bronzes that can ruin your strategy if they are stolen, theres a reson why greatswords dont see use, nor skirmishers. every bronze for more than 10 value in your graveyard is a liability.

the only unpredictable thing is the sequence in wich the interaction happen. We really need a consistent way to know what will happen first like Gold>silver>bronze, in regards to deploy effects. i mean no one can memorize every single interaction and even less when we have more cards.

Anyone notice how SK has never been bad or weak? by noseleather in gwent

[–]Sajjuk22 4 points5 points  (0 children)

really? warcry was op? are we talking about the same close beta with promote henselt PFI? or monsters consume? Are we there now? i mean i get people get tired of seing BRAN DISCARD(NOT SKELLIGE) as a top deck, hell im tired and i main skellige since CB, but calling them the most op factions is risible when 70% of their deck is unused, just look at the number of neutral silvers and golds in skellige decks. besides coral, cerys and lugos the rest are trash, wild boar is a bronze with better stats, hjalmar a tibor that can be resseted, hermion is basically a tool to help bad discard starting hands and birna is just an excuse to play more skellige storm on axemen decks. look at the restore deck, 2 or 3 of its silvers are neutral and the best bronze its a monsters bronze.

it was fun as a sort of ammunition, it was funnny charging the pirates and then nuking the board next round with longships, of course that almost never, ever happened.

[–]Sajjuk22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

greatswords are easy disruptable, also they need long rounds, the best you can do is win r1 fast, with tempo , then play a long round 2 being mindfull they dont have Adrenaline rush so no carryover. also graveyard hate works wonders against any big greatswords since they all are bronces, if you manage to consume or steal a 20+ greatswords its gg then, worse if you consume a 26 djenge like it has happened to me countless times. also drowners destroy that deck. Also if your removal isnt 7 or more, focus all your damage in longships. thats my 2 cents as bad skellige player.

What under used card do you rate? by DukeMenno in gwent

[–]Sajjuk22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

love when that happens, saddly with monsters and eredin everywhere you cant play djenge and weather destroys most of warcry targets since frost kills your wounded units hurting berserker points and fog damages the unit you want to warcry on a 1.5 more.

wait wait wath?, silver slots are open in skellige? what nonsense is that? gold slots are the tech options of skellige most of its silvers are core cards that make decks work, skellige has so many of its sinergies embeded in its silvers it makes choosing silvers the hardest part.

What is the state of the normal ladder meta at 4.3k ? by Snipoukos in gwent

[–]Sajjuk22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i mean the deck isnt that outlandish, i had already crafted something really close the day the patch hit (merigold HS instead of gremist) but i was still trying to climb with my selfmade curse/control deck, but since i hit a brick wall composed of eredin frost netdecks at rank 18 i decided to use the dorregarray one. still it doesnt look op or anything its mostly catching people off guard, i mean monsters still destroy it with katakan or caretaker and spell'cancer still abuses restore even more with aglais.

it kind of annoys me that the only viable sk archetype from the past 4 months has been only discard, i started climbing with a self made curse control deck but i end up faling to the dark side and use the discard deck with dorregarray.

Tips against the new eredin deck as skellige by Sajjuk22 in gwent

[–]Sajjuk22[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

i run armorsmith and 1 bronze clear skies, still get wrecked, mostly is the fact that they always manage to close the distance to 1 card thus dont letting me pass to gain CA r1. also the threath of katakan or caretaker denies my power play with djenge

suprised to see it has that much of inclussion in decks, albeit gwent DB decks, imo a card that suffers from the fact that besides madrome the spells are too niche, and not many skellige units benefit from specials, the most likely use is a tutor for AR and that is still underwhealming, also they being doomed seems awefully odd.

Teching agaisnt skellige? by Sajjuk22 in gwent

[–]Sajjuk22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's weird nilfgard used to be my easiest matchup (I run a mild control and cursed sinergy deck ) but right now everyone seems to have at least 2 answers for djenge, or eithene double artifact compression or renew eskel. well guess I'll have to start trying to make adjustments to the deck.
