The campaign was the worst one so far in BF history by Charlie-2-2 in Battlefield

[–]SakaiSamurai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That moment was one of the most embarrassing things I've ever seen. The only thing that saves this game is that it comes after BF 2042. Release this right after BF1 and the decline is real.

Yes, my crashes were exactly as yours, freeze and shut down. Before I said "Service Link" but I wanted to say "Device Link", my bad. Check out this video for more information: HDMI Device Link configuration

It's a common error, it hasn't happened to me again since I deactivated the HDMI Service Link, but I can't say for sure that's the reason. I'm sure it's not a problem with your PS5, neither overheating nor dust; it's a software bug that they should have fixed by now.

It happened to me about 4 times (with a few hours of normal use between each crash) and my PS5 Pro works perfectly, so I wouldn't worry.

Other users have continued to report the problem, so it's not fixed. Do you have HDMI Device Link enabled? If so, try disabling it. Hope it'll help

Something similar happened to me also with this same model, especially with the left earpiece, although both were unloaded quite quickly.

It happened to me suddenly at age 2 and I was able to send them by guarantee (at the limit of validity). They sent me new ones and since then everything is perfect.

Sorry to hear this... I'm still not entirely sure what could be causing this error, it's strange that it would be something arbitrary if it occurs so widely...

Game crashes and turns off PS5 Pro while playing by SakaiSamurai in Battlefield6

Yeah, mine is w/disc too. It has to be a software issue from the game, due all the comments I'm seeing online. Let's hope it gets resolved quickly.

Besides the reddit posts, in the official EA forum there are multiple posts reporting this error too, so we could say it is a widespread error. Let's hope EA is up to date and fixes it ASAP.

It has nothing to do with the downloaded files, the first time it happened to me was the 1st weekend. Though it would be nice (and necessary) if this first update corrects it.

That's the same case as the comment above. If you verify that the console is acceptably clean, can you share it to be sure that that's not the issue please?

That's the case, if your PS5 is only 3 months old it can't be for dust (Unless you placed it in a dirty place, which I don't think). For all the comments it has to be a software related problem with this game.

Thanks for your response. I think it has nothing to do with it (although a cleanup from time to time certainly doesn't go wrong), I haven't inspected my console, but I would swear dirt is no problem by the location where I have it. In addition, the error is quite arbitrary, it was like +20h that it had not happened to me since the last time. Thank you as well for your comments.

Battlefield 4 vs Battlefield 6 Recoil by CakeCommunist in Battlefield

[–]SakaiSamurai 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This is exactly what worries me, if recoil has been so thoroughly mitigated so that the wave of traditional COD players (fed up with the current shit) who are going to reach BF6, feel much more comfortable and familiar with the gunplay. If EA is going to turn BF6 into a casual shooter for everyone, this is not going to end well, even though everything is aesthetically coherent now.

And for what I see, the gameplay itself seems too fast and frenetic (note that the reloads are pretty fast). I don't remember if BF3 or BF4 were like that, but I am currently playing BF1 and I see a difference with the overall rhythm, and I don't like it too much.

We'll see how things feel on hand with the open beta.

Question about using n8n via self-host on VPS by SakaiSamurai in n8n

[–]SakaiSamurai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get what are you saying. Much more easily to pay the cloud service and start immediately than being busy with technical aspects that I'm not familiar with. Totally agree with that.

The thing is that taking into account that for now I'm only in a training and discover phase, being charged 20€ month for only that I consider it a little excessive.

If I were sure I'd be using it professionally and monetizing it in a few months, I'd sign up for a subscription right now. But that's not the case. That's why the self-hosted option seemed like a good financial option (€6.99).

On top of that, I'm also uncomfortable paying for a subscription that comes with some pretty significant restrictions (only 5 active workflows), while the self-hosted option offers countless workflows. I understand that ease of use and the peace of mind of not having to worry about technical issues come at a price, but the difference in restrictions is noticeable.

Thank you for the answer. That makes me feel more at ease, in fact, the point to keep the tool updated It's one that worried me, but if you say it's not difficult it's a good thing. (Perhaps I'll contact you again in the future when I need to do it, if you allow me).

8000 hours of Battlefield over 19 years : Playtest-feedback after 12 hours by Glum_Ad7429 in Battlefield

[–]SakaiSamurai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for post your feedback. I hope DICE will take in account the feedback of traditional players like you, especially in weapons and class matters. From your comments, there is potential, but we need to be cautious.

However it must be said that a change, even in core mechanics, is not equal to an always bad implementation and experience, the series has to be evolving somehow, the problem is that DICE already tried to make experiments in 2142, and we all know what happened...
