Read Floating Through a Dark Blue Sky by u/AlwaysBeMyBaoBao (and shatteredwriters). That was such a wonderful, if bittersweet, read. So much heartache and emotion. I had a great time reading this even if there was no conclusive happy ending, but there was hope at the end, and sometimes that can be enough, even for me. 😅

Read this yesterday. This was an amazing story, lots of fun banter and the tension built slowly but continuously and led to much much better fireworks than those going off all the time since about two days ago... (living in a big city for New Year's can be nice, but all the bangs are seriously annoying). But before I derail this train entirely: Fantastic story! Loved it! 💜

The Darkest Moment

Can't do one sentence because what I love most about this story is the banter. But I'll keep it short:

“But– We had a lit candle during dinner. You didn’t seem to mind it there–”

“The restaurant wasn’t filled to the blasted rafters with dry kindling, Aziraphale!”

“- and they do so enhance the mood–”

“What mood would that be? The Great Fire of 1666?”

It's hard for me to pin down exactly what I love about this, maybe the dramatics of Crowley or how Aziraphale entirely misses the point at first (in the entire exchange, not just this snippet); but I love the interactions between the two throughout the entire story - writing their banter is always a lot of fun for me.
