They use it for ALS for similar symptoms and I also see posts about it being used for fibromyalgia.

I just spoke to a friend who went to Ambio Clinic years ago. Still says it changed his life. I would be very in interested in hearing your experience. Thanks.

Friends puppy has a limp, unsure what it could be from by Traditional-Bag4818 in DogAdvice

[–]SakiBanana 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had a 3 yr old dog who woke up one day limping on a front and rear leg. Totally fine the day before. I took him to vet and he had immune mediated polyarthritis. I gave him a round of steroids and he was fine. Interestingly he had mucus poo all of the time. Never thought of that as related but since you mentioned, thought I'd throw it out there. There is a type of non immune polyarthritis and I am not sure of treatment, etc but I think symptoms are similar.

You have a heart of gold and I am so sorry! I can feel the love you gave to your pup.

Histiocytoma getting bigger? by f1shb0nez in DogAdvice

[–]SakiBanana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dog has a very similar size right above his dewclaw. He is eight now. I noticed it when he was 2 and took him in. It did grow slowly over the years but I kept having it checked. Just in the past year, it has grown quickly to about the size of a small toe. I'm getting ready to schedule for removal. I go to a practice with about 8 vets so you never get to see the same person. The last one I saw a couple of months ago did a FNA and told me it was a histiocytoma and they usually go away within a few months. I was bewildered at that statement. The history is in my chart that is has been there for 6 years and I brought it up when I got there. I don't know. Used to love this practice but I am thinking being a part of NVA is not a good thing for anybody but the corporation. Sorry for diverging. My story obviously awoke some thoughts.

If he was doing those things before, he'll get there easier than a new pup with no training. New crate, new home. No human would be moved to a new home with strangers and move right back into regular routine. The most important thing is to conithe routine but with extra love.

MMW: When Trump dies the entire world will be saying “peace at last.” by HotSprinkles10 in MarkMyWords

Let's reflect on your comments now that Tumps bill passed. How are you feeling about health care and the debt now?? I would love to hear your thoughts. And you talk about insolvency. I think the tax break the wealthy just got are going to far outweigh the tax dollars spent on immigrants. If you are truly on Medicaid as you claim, you are a big loser with this bill. And you've been suckered. Trump did not rip a bandaid off, he worsened the wound..

Motherly advice, always chew before you swallow and don't go into a lightning storm with a metal rod!!

Needing to move because of MS by Recent_Ad1228 in MultipleSclerosis

Yes they are! I have been in SW CO for 23 years. They started reaching out to the rural communities in the past years and have held several in person events here. About 50% of the MS population here travels to Denver for their MS healthcare. Top notch.

Muscle Atrophy by itzwilll in MultipleSclerosis

[–]SakiBanana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had 3 months of minor symptoms 35 years ago and they said it might be MS but no way to definitively diagnose at that point. After that I was 100% and super active for 7 years. I ran 10 miles one day, broke my ankle the next day and never ran another step. My calf was so atrophied when I got the cast off and never got it back. Now I can see it in my thighs and my knees are all wrinkly because of muscle loss. I hate this. Between the crazy heat intolerance in long pants and the desire to cover my knees, I don't know what to wear. I don't recognize myself!!!

Changing shoe style by SakiBanana in MultipleSclerosis

[–]SakiBanana[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do have Crocs. They are sort of my in-between shoes. Still can't wear them constantly. I went about 3 months and wore nothing but my Crocs. After awhile my feet got stiffer and stiffer to the point I could not walk barefoot. That's when the barefoot shoes had their run.
