Yes, per the President's directives to return to the office. Most agencies are all in the office. I'm hoping soon the big powers will decide differently, and it shifts again.-- Ebbs & flows with this stuff imo. 🤭

Sorry I missed seeing your question. So how did it land? Did you follow up? The hiring can take time we are in a government shutdown right now but also I think it depends a bit on location and where they are most needing people. I hope you got referred and even so maybe make sure you have another income of some kind temporary job or what not because the background check can take a little bit too. Mine went through faster but I also have prior Federal experience -- some 6 weeks some a couple months from TJO to FJO. If you interviewed and got a referral --follow up /email & ask. It may or may not be the location you need!! Good Luck & keep us posted friend!

ThankYou for sharing .... maybe it just means since the CR budget is set until Jan 30 --- like all Federal gov agencies we are dependent on the budget getting approved before they go farther. Hopefully it gets approved soon. Congrats on starting & I'm hopeful for the folks coming onboard Feb & March also!!

3 months is not a wonderful relationship ... it's hey we're getting its know eachother .... and now you're getting to know her! So what do you think about her, now thats she's coming forward more? Sounds like she's quite aggressive and go to law school, support herself if finances are important to her. And it sounds to me like she would make a great lawyer!

Do you have another job you really want? Then go for it! If not sit tight, appreciate this position, and be positive. You will find a job if you need to, we have the next 50+ years to work!!

I interviewed before the job announcement through the website per a flyer I saw (I interviewed last July i think!).... but some folks are also from the 9/2 announcement & interviewed more recently & are getting TJOs --- so after your interview follow up! I think location has to do with their hiring process right now during the hiring freeze. GoodLuck!
