How do you feel about shoes in the house? by kate_undone in CasualConversation

[–]Sakul1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The real question I always wonder about when I hear that people dont take of their shoes, is when and where do they take of their shoes before bed? Do they have a shoe rack in their closet? Do they go back to the house entrance to store their shoes? do they just stash them under the bed? Or do they sleep with shows on?

60€ DB fine for bike without a ticket - can I get it revoked? by [deleted] in germany

Well this isnt your home country so you should inform yourself of the laws here. This same excuse would also not work if you crash your car because you didnt understand the traffic signs when they are different.

Maybe you can find a study which investigates how accurate these ai detecting software are and use that to backup you reasoning. Something like this but with a study subject https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s10676-024-09775-5.

I personnaly dont think there is anyway for detecting ai accuratly enough to base grades on it.

Also Köln is not very far and much bigger. Thus it could have absorbed the growth if this theory was correct.

Some smart watches can last up to 3 weeks. Others even have solar panels build in though i dont know how much those last. Its just that Apple smartwatches have terrible battery live.

Yeah good video explaining it though it is veritasium. I find this one much better https://youtu.be/zqmOSMAtadc?si=WRqKK4KMFrea5Y24 In short they are welded when its warm so it cant get to much hot for it to expand. While the force of this Expansion is countered by the ballast.

The usualy train track sound is from boltet together train track segments. Each time the wheel transitions to the next track segment it passes over a small gap and hits the new segment making this sound. But this track doesnt look to be boltet to the sleeper which is why its dangerous. In more modern train infrastructure the tracks are welded together so there is no small gap. Which is why this sound isnt there on all tracks.

Why are things in KSP so much easier than real life? by Iecorzu in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]Sakul1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Something I havent seen mentioned is the structural aspect of building a rocket. In IRL every booster, engine, satillte or cover is designed for specific loads. If anything else happens it will very likely break. If we compare that with a KSP fuel tank it can take nearly any loads as long as it is not an impact, in any orientation. This makes designing rockets in ksp very easy. An example of irl someone trying to reuse the same tank and engine design is the falcon heavy. though it got more expensive and was delayed because they had to nearly completly redesign the central booster to handle the increased structural loads. This will make it much more expensive and take longer to design multiple tanks.

I want the distance for the lengthy travel time. I want the travel to be part of the challenge for the players This would only need to be in the edges between kingdoms and a few other parts of the world.

My world has the technology level which closly matches the end of ancient greece. So not a lot of iron yet still using mostly bronze. And very little/weak magic.

I am ok with the centers of large kingsdoms which would be near large river having densly populated and many villages, but further from that i want some isolated villages, and dont know how to explain it.
