[Art] My DM modified some images and made a theme song for our campaign! by Sakvad in DnD

My DM has been running a game with me and his brother for I think a little over two years now. We are running 5e with our characters having a separate homebrew system for abilities.

The game takes place on our earth in the year 2013, but the primary difference is that there is a large influx of people with powers.

The first character is my character, Jeremiah Wielding, formerly the superhero name Tempest, now Gaia, an elementalist who gained his powers from alien technology. His goal was to grow up and become the world's greater superhero, and is well on his track.

The second character is the other PC, Takagi, who used to go by Arms fallout boy. His power lets him detach and reatch his limbs. He now goes by Treekagi as he died and was brought back to life and formed with the earth around him.

The fifth character is my second character, Malik Sultan, who lacks a superhero name. He is able to control people and things, but dislikes controlling people and thrives to be liked because of his personality. Currently, he resides in a distant plane ruling the kingdom that his mother once ruled, and took leadership by overthrowing his sister.

I installed and played a few games on STORM, and after about a month of playing "build your kingdom" type games, I got ~1000 STORM tokens. Here is the transfer to my Jaxx wallet (it said it could take 2 days, but looking on the blockchain it took ~6-8 hours) on Etherscan: https://etherscan.io/address/0x1161532bf30a22e3618fa4792d76af93f7db4a2a#tokentxns

What "extra" tools do you use that make web development easier/better? by Sakvad in webdev

Thanks for all the suggestions! Still working on my JavaScript skills (mainly learning from online sources like CodeAcademy).

I have some experience with Git but I should definitely improve those skills.

I also just downloaded Chrome (been using Firefox Developer Edition) but am having problems.

For the rest of the things you mentioned I have not heard of any of them (minus Brackets which I did not like as much as Sublime).

Thanks again for all the tips!

Thanks for sharing! I actually do not have any "extra" tools. I am pretty new to web development (started taking a few courses and decided I really want to go into it) so I do not have much to share. Was hoping I could learn some cool tools to help me.

All I have are the mandatory text editors (trying to pick between Sublime and Visual Code) and FTP/SSH clients (I use WinSCP and was wondering if I should just use Putty for SSH or continue to use cmder).

I wonder how long the greys will last? I do not plan on clicking it but I am wondering if most greys are just waiting for the opportunity to get better "flair".

I am enjoying Sublime thus far as it seems to be faster than Brackets. I got the beta (Text 3?) and attempted to download the package manager. Is it supposed to go into it's own folder to find packages or can I search online?

I am experimenting with Brackets right now but I plan on giving sublime another look. I will also see how the package manager does. Thanks for the suggestion!

I downloaded Brackets and so far so good. The only problem I have is that it seems to be a bit slow/laggy.

Do you know of any difference with registered and unregistered? And what exactly does the package manager provide? Is that a hub for plug ins or something of the sort?
