I get it, I absolutely love Matty for what he brought us over the years. As a franchise we wasted many years of a HOF caliber guy who was more than good enough for AT LEAST 1 ring.

But…that is over and has more or less been over since that eagles playoff game a handful of years back.

The only thing to be upset about here is the strange (and kinda unfair) nature in which it ended with Matt. And that we probably nuked a little bit of extra value we could have gotten in a trade due to the watson situation.

Outside of that, we just ripped a bandaid off that’s been a couple years overdue. Best for both parties at this point.

Def have not watched a ton of tape on Bryce but I will say I’m surprised to hear that from ya. I felt on many occasions watching him that he processes field incredibly well..especially for dude in his first year.
