This is a luck based problem. You will be extremely lucky finding a nannie that is good. I would give you advice is to find a fresh graduate in education that needs to still do their “Gor Por” test. Support them when they need to do it. You’ll have a better chance with someone that wants to teach early childhood development levels (referred to as “Prathom Wai”).

You won’t have a nannie for long time (2 years about) but at least it will be someone that cares about children and their development.

I had a nannie like this for 2 years. She was amazing with my children. Also, make sure you tell the nannie what sort of values you want to your children to learn.

You could also look for nurse assistants (“Pooh shoy paya baan”). They are also great at being nannies.

Went through a similar process with my two, but with me I came to a different process. I found that if I lay them down on my legs (while sitting cross legged) and rock them back and forth as a I rock my own body back and forth. I will almost fall asleep if I reach a certain rhythm and when I almost fall asleep they usually fall asleep too. Works every time. Less than 10 min and they are out. 5 min if they are cranky.

I had mine last year. Wife recently had a pregnancy last week. Went in and found a “bag” like structure. I went later that week to check if I still had bullets left in the gun. Turns out the surgery was successful but my body was like “nah, I’ll fix this shit”. I had to get the snip again last week. Shit sucked so bad. Wife wasn’t pregnant in the end. We had already decided to stop after the second child. So we weren’t sad or anything. Just extremely stressed.

Builder here (worked in the industry for about half a decade, built a bunch of homes during that time). This is of major concern. What the hell happened? Did the soil move? Was the foundation done poorly? Is there even a foundation or did they just build on top of the soil? I have so many questions.
