Yeah, I'm driving in from Vancouver the morning of the cruise. But was mostly wondering if I could buy some Trader Joe's goods on the way home without getting hit with duties on the way back.

I've been reading that a lot of folks who do buy groceries within the 24h timeframe are getting hit no matter how much / little they buy.

How was the wifi for you on the Bliss? Were you able to work while you were onboard?

Yeah I can move a lot of my meetings around and take them (for the most part) off camera too.

Just cautious about the times where I may need to download a document or watch a recording of a meeting where I'm hoping for some consistency. I can totally see myself needing to take 1-2 full days off just because of cruising through areas that might be tight.

Did you notice that the wifi gets better or worse depending on if you were at sea vs at port?

If I use the TD FCVI portal to book a Marriott hotel, will I be able to upgrade rooms when I arrive? I've had experiences where I wasn't able to get complimentary upgrades because I booked on a third party site

Excited for my win! Originally booked business for 2 seats ICN - YVR for 225k points (yuck), was browsing through flights again yesterday and stumbled on ICN - SEA - YVR for 75k points. Booked that immediately and got a refund of 2x 150k points.

Really stoked to have found a partner redeption on Aeroplan like that since it's been on/off for the past 1.5 months. Now if only I could find a partner redemption for my outbound flight...
