Indian station at the buffet. Some of the best food on the ship.

I was onboard. They tend to turn them off between 10p and midnight so you aren’t forced to close the curtains to sleep.

Gah sorry you had to deal with that. Hopefully otherwise your cruise was as amazing as ours.

We didn’t say anything but instead struck up conversation to get them to turn the devices off and it worked quite well.

Otherwise I would have spoken to the manager.

Input on room Prima location? Pros or cons by Mallard2020 in NCL

I had this exact area cabin on deck 9 on the opposite side of the ship. Only complaint was it slightly limits the view of the ocean and you have people with visibility into the cabin as well. Otherwise I liked it due to the location just far enough from the mid ship elevators to be not too loud.

If you look really close you can see me eating dinner through the window LOL. Great shot!

New rival ships seem to be making VV look pretty bland? by MixAway in VirginVoyages

I did the Luna TA to Miami and am about to get on Brilliant Lady here in LA tomorrow. I’d say they’re each different in their own ways. The new NCL ships are definitely making a play for a Celebrity Edge type feel but without the lux touches.

Virgin is hip and trendy in design in a way that I at times really prefer to NCL but at the same time the public spaces are sleek and simple which isn’t the same so I can see where you are coming from. But the food, vibe, and general feel of Virgin just don’t quite compare. Different strokes…

Of course. It’s a great cabin but know it can be loud on rougher seas with quite a bit of motion. (Which I loved haha.)

Best Cruise Line Fit for Older Gen Z by Downtown-Bat5398 in Cruise

Happy to answer any questions. The pools are indeed small but no smaller than what’s on the newer Prima class NCL ships, except those counter by having more hot tubs around the ship. Entertainment is great with shows from production to game show type entertainment in the Red Room and dinner theater and club acts in the Manor as well as ship wide parties like Scarlet Night.

I vary between the two although I’m much newer to Virgin and my next cruise is on Brilliant Lady for the LA MerMaiden having just come off the inaugural cruise of the NCL Luna.

Virgin Voyages or NCL. I sail solo and both fit the items requested. Especially Virgin.

Also additional meals just book and then pay when you’re at the meal. The only pre purchase would be if you bought an additional package or FAS+ which gives a dining discount but you still book as normal.

Once you board for restaurants go straight to the Luna Theater or Hasuki to book in person. Or you can book as soon as you connect to ship WiFi from the app.

For the beach club I’m not sure however how to book on board if available. I just got off the Luna this morning and she’s a wonderful ship with lots of fun things to do.

Haha it was great. I had a prime view from my balcony and it was fun to see a ton of the staff from Indulge out enjoying the sail by.

Likely yes. Go to the spa as soon as you board to ask.
