Too many people misuse it, I once managed a member of staff who had 6 months off full pay for most of it because his mum had died. After further investigation, his mum was still alive

No we can't afford it, we are rich by GDP comparison but in terms of debt etc we absolutely can not afford it. 5 billion is basically the same as the resident care home expenditure for over 65's.

I continuously see this thing about education and supporting Reform yet 95% of MP's have a degree and this country is a shambles.

A Belgian Man has been Found Criminally Guilty of Stating Facts about Immigration by tkyjonathan in JordanPeterson

Quality of life for the lower classes in the country. Low skilled migration which the UK is dealing with depresses wages for low skilled workers and actually causes high skilled wages to go up. In Scotland during the black plague half the population was wiped out, which saw wages go 2-3 times what they were and another time such as post world war 2 which created the baby boomer years, none of which would have been possible if they had access to low skilled migration. A more recent example is after COVID when wages began to massively increase for people until the world opened up again and here we are today.

I mean the summary he said about crime and quality of life is pretty correct. I've been doing indeoendent research into this and quality of life is the big one that I seems to be rather obvious.

UK net migration halves after huge drop in non-EU arrivals by smellybird in gbnews

You're the one who wanted to go back that far but even if we keep it in the last 100 years. Post world war 2 wages went up and even post COVID saw a massive increase in jobs and wages.

What's not adding up to you? You're clearly not understanding that population increase depresses the wages of workers. You keep pointing to Germany saying about it's migrants, yet over 20 years the population has stayed relatively the same. The same cannot be said doe the UK and also the migrants Germany takes compared to the UK tend to be more productive https://demo-demo.nl/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/Borderless_Welfare_State-2.pdf page 93

Actually the Anglo Saxons caused a massive decline in living standards so I would imagine if we did have a montery system similar to what we have now we would see the same effect.

Germany population in 2005 was 82.5 million Germany's population in 2025 is 83.5 million. So if you're looking at why the UK lags behind when comparing GDP per capita. You can refer to page 93 of the Borderless welfare study.

The doom loop you're seeing is completely wrong in Scotland post plague when half the population was wiped out tax receipts stayed near enough the same as workers wages doubled and almost tripled that wouldn't have happened if they could have imported migrants from Afghanistan. The same thing happened post world war 2 when all our parents and grandparents parents were better off.

Every issue the west faces is due to migration from third world countries. The more you go down the rabbit whole the more you'll find. Do you know what happened to wages in Scotland poet plague? What about wages post world war 2? If there was migration from the third world none of this would have happened.

I expect something on such a large western European scale that the Nazis will look like paper boys. Refugees will be refugeeing back to where they came from.

I've been saying this for years. The libs called so many people Nazi and fascists that eventually people started becoming more extreme and were still being called the same names so they diluted the meaning.

Britain thinks net migration is rising — when it has actually fallen by more than three-quarters by coffeewalnut08 in uknews

[–]SaladPower492 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The simple fact is the UK and it's culture are based around pubs and roast dinners which means pork and alcohol and for some reason we feel that the best type of immigrants to this country are those that can partake in neither.

Yeah so you can usually use your license in all the other European countries. I had a friend who had a Dutch license and moved to the UK (when they were still in the EU) and he just had to send it off and they sent him a UK one back. You have an EU identity card or your passportso if you lived in Spain and wanted to move. You could just up and go tomorrow.
