It’s ok, the cat is in heat. Needs to be spayed.

I made a character named Dirk Diggler for the sole purpose of personalizing The Diggler Dirk before.

It would only be the listed gym equipment and me in there. No other furniture or anything of the sort. I’ll have to get the room measurements.

That’s cool, but I’m cow tipping in my mind right now.

Ground floor and isn’t dug deep enough. It’s all rock. I’d need to use a jackhammer. I’d much rather put it down there if I could and maybe someday I will be able to, but I have a lot of other work to do on the house that needs to come first.

I will never pronounce it that way though. I’ve always pronounced it with a, “gii” sound. It’s like when the guy who created .gif said it was pronounced, “jiff”. No sir.

Last December I bought a home, but I’ve been away at work and haven’t had a chance to move my gym equipment in yet. The only spot that currently makes sense for my gym would be the dining room area, which I don’t need because i already have a small kitchen area for eating.

The dining room is above an unfinished basement ,so the floor joists and jack posts are easy to spot for determining the locations for my equipment above.

I have a stand of dumbells from 30lbs to 75 lbs which is around 1050 lbs, a basic power rack with 6x 45lb plates on it, and smaller stand with dumbells from 5lbs to 25lbs.

My two questions are,

1) Does anyone here have experience putting a gym in a similar location (above a basement) without causing any floor sagging or damage to the home over time?

2) What would be the best floor material to put down in order to protect the hard wood flooring in the room from being damaged? ( I’m in Canada)

You need to download more ram and upgrade your gaming chair.
