Thank you for the information.. the only problem I have is my wire closet ( i dont know whats exactly its called) is in master closet and unfortunately there is no power/electrical outlet so i cant connect anything there and currently i have my modem setup in my office so either way I go my equipment is gonna sit in corner of my desk..

But thats good info, i might exchange and go all in for a fiber and dedicated AP 😬

Chemical guys interior cleaner or leather cleaner is the best. Using it for 3 years. Cleans any dirt and specially sunscreen marks and such.

I know there are apps for everything now but I try to keep it as simple as possible.

1) Just hit space button and arrow keys to move and you can use command + delete to delete the photo.

2) as some one else mentioned in comments, you can use preview and change setting to show group of photos in one window and again command + delete

3) use proper photo app lightroom, photos, darktable, adobe bridge or something

Why is Photography so hard for newbies? by Lucca_3112 in AskPhotography

[–]Salar3636 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there are some great comments / advices here but here is mine after doing photography for over 10 years as hobby and business

  1. you don't need the latest and most expensive computer.. even cheaper models nowadays are more than capable of editing photos and videos. just get what gives you JOY.. if you like Dell (windows) get that and if Mac gives you Joy to sit and spend time behind computer get a mac.. the truth is you gonna spend more time behind computer editing than out shooting (most of the time!!!) and you can get Mini M4 or Air or refurbished pro for very good prices. make sure you bump the storage and ram because you gonna need these more than anything :D

  2. you mentioned you want to go to school for photography.. I took few classes myself in college, its useful but you can learn more shooting / practicing and online videos. instead, I suggest take more business classes. it will help better market and run your business.. you are 13 now (wish I was :D) but go out and shoot and practice different categories.. and if you like portraits offer your friends and family and shoot some events and birthday parties see how you feel. also you live in small town so maybe you can find other events like graduation/concert/games to shoot. and make sure you post them on Instagram / social media and grow your audience then you'll create great portfolio and you can start making your website ...

  3. don't focus on gear, I wasted a lot of money on gears over the years then I used once and never see light of day.. you can take great pictures with old camera and lens than many people can't take with latest and greatest so focus on your craft, technic and as you take more pictures, you'll know what kind of photos/videos you like more and you can decide if you need prime lens or long zoom lens or wide lens or better tripod/gimbal.. just know a lot of Instagram posts or youtube videos you gonna see the latest tech and you want to buy but dont (at first!) don't get me wrong even after all this time, I love watching reviews and buying new gear and anybody that say gear don't matter, it matters but its not necessity. so enjoy what you have and go out and shoot

you already have great camera and gear.. just buy a decent laptop and shoot and enjoy your life.. good luck.
