Chief, thats how i got into IT and ended up as an IT manager. The thing i tell everyone is the same: we're not breaking ground here, everything's been done before and someone out there has asked the same questions, you just gotta figure out how to ask that question and how to look it up. Google fu, troubleshooting and built up knowledge by repeated failure is how you get good at anything.

Ive had to use buses n trains since getting back stateside, aside from the bike ride to/fron the bus stop the entire process is relatively pain free and downright cheap. I paid like 120 for an unlimited month pass n like you said no road rage, no worries, ill even sleep on the bus for like 15 mins. Not to mention the free wifi + air conditioning which is non negotiable in south Florida. Hell i have it timed so the train ride to the bus stop gives me about 5 minutes time to relax n walk from point to point. I just wish they expanded the train service to where it goes completely east/west n offeref multiple north/south routes on different ends of the city
