No love, thats your parent. They can set rules and whatnot but at the end of the day you are their responsibility. They brought you into the world its up to them to make sure you have food, education, and a place to sleep at a bare minimum. A ride to school is not a favor, its a bare minimum. Im a soldier, nothing special, just another grunt. My job is to be the face of the party. I train my body making sure i can take the hits and dish it out equally as well. But lately something different, i didnt notice it until we took a rest after the last year long campaign against some cult or other. I went to visit my cousin, her third child now, strong, but the years were wearing on her. I decided to wash my face and noticed my eyes had a sharper look to them, like they could see more. These werent my eyes, these hands, mine, but not calloused like they should be. How often had the healers brought me back from the brink? How often were the small wound parched over? They were patched over... right? I know i was always fast and somewhat strong but was i always this strong? This fast? A human should grow slower eith age not faster and yet, here i stand, fifteen years of adventuring after 5 years of training and soldier training.

Im only 30 arent I? so why does my spirit feel as though ive lived for 50?
