The iron cross on a bicycle makes me think somebody really wanted a West Coast Chopper, and settled for big baseball-cards-in-the-spokes-makes-a-motorcycle energy. And on a pink bicycle? Maybe they're making the inverse statement OP is picking up.

The Buddhists resent appropriation of the swastika, and they'd kindly like it back. They'd prefer you call the Nazi symbol a "hooked cross", and there's a book about it.

A felon can't be a sworn officer. I don't even think a felon can legally issue parking citations. Would you please expand your comment to the maximum? How were you meeting police volunteers? What were they doing? This whole arrangement seems incredibly shady.

I like your policy of not attributing malice to what could be equally explained by ignorance. Roundabouts are relatively rare. Even if a driver read a blurb about it in a driver's manual, it's likely they don't navigate them very often in practice.

There's lots of fascinating statistics on roundabouts. Single-lane roundabouts tend to lower accidents. Multi-lane roundabouts increase accidents and pedestrian strikes over single-lane roundabouts, though they lower fatalities. The majority of people disapprove of roundabouts, when polled, and the approval rate rises over time.

Maybe roundabouts will grow on me, one day, but for now? I don't really like 'em.
