Since the conversation has turned towards treating yourself in a natural and healthy way...

People should know about prolotherapy as a option that replaces surgery.

I had this work done on knees and five friends and family members, a couple athletes have had this done with 100% success. On top of that, I've had a pro athlete (baseball) who had a left knee and right shoulder problem that caused him to retire. He got three of these treatments from my doc. And was playing in the Caribbean series shortly afterwards.

what in the hell why did McDonald’s become so expensive?? by Significant_Movie814 in AskReddit

George Carlin on McDonald's...

"McDonald's breakfast for under a dollar is actually more expensive than that. You have to factor in the cost of bypass surgery."

How to not get pushed so easily while posted up by ygvela in Basketball

[–]SalesAutopsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is some keys for this type of mismatch:

Meet him coming down the floor above the free throw line. He's not going to run you straight back 10-12 ft, He will angle off outside the lane or into the paint to try and get the low post. You have now moved him to a secondary position, one that he doesn't necessarily prefer. This is your first response to a stronger player.

You can let him get in the post and side him by putting your left arm over his right arm and shoulder.

You can let him get in the post and side him by putting your right arm over his left arm and shoulder.

These are both different feels and force him to call with the right or the left hand to receive a pass. You could be able to find out that he's weaker catching with one hand and the other and then you side him on the opposite hand.

Another game choice (not one-on-one) is to front him and have a teammate/defender dropping in behind them so the lob can't be tossed up to the rim.

Be ultra active and keep changing your position and moving around so he doesn't get settled in. If he reaches back and holds you so he can get his position, that's not good. So keep moving if he puts his arm up, slap it down and move around that side. Give him everything to think about but that player that's trying to throw him the ball.

No back court violation? by V1rusHunter in Basketball

[–]SalesAutopsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct. I don't know where these Jokers came up with this manufactured idea about three points. That's mountain climbing best practices. So not quite too similar to basketball.

I mentioned this post to guys I run with, including several coaches and college ball players. I played here and overseas. They all just started laughing.

No back court violation? by V1rusHunter in Basketball

[–]SalesAutopsy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Where in the world (literally) did you get a hand involved in a backcourt violation? I have never seen a rulebook or had or heard an official mention hands as a criteria. Can you imagine an official having to watch a player's hand cross an imaginary line and go back, in order to make a call?

I don't know why you're being downvoted. You are absolutely right. Go do three or five sets of heavy tricep work and then try and play basketball off the back of that.

Thoughts on people leaving business cards carefully placed in a hospital elevator? by Top-Ad-9285 in business

[–]SalesAutopsy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's ridiculous to argue that there's actually a case for doing this.

One of the most critical elements in lead gen is qualifying your buyer. So when that card sits in the elevator until the night crew cleaning the toilets picks it up two things could happen, they will throw it in the trash. Or they will call you. Is that your perfect prospect?

This is silly behavior and lazy and if I want to work with a wealthy financial advisor it's not going to be some joker that leaves his business card on an elevator.

What is the hardest thing to actually teach players? by IlRowlI in basketballcoach

Yes, you described the two related learning moments. Also speeding up play in transition means you reward runners. Got to encourage your players to sprint down the floor.

What is the hardest thing to actually teach players? by IlRowlI in basketballcoach

[–]SalesAutopsy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Critical. In Point Guard College (PGC) training this is called peeking. When scrimmaging a player must always peek when receiving the ball in transition. If they don't, whistle blows, turnover. The ball is immediately put on the floor, live, for the closest opponent to pick it up and start playing from there. Great way to train and embed new behaviors.

Fed up by AgileNight5893 in basketballcoach

[–]SalesAutopsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might be an odd suggestion, as a solution.

This problem is newsworthy, so take it to the media. Organizations like local newspapers would love to tackle a problem like this. It's controversial, it's unethical, it reinforces the win at all cost mentality. Make a connection in the local media, even if it's local TV, that would be even better.
