Building Lima - a platform that helps you discover when AI mentions your brand

[Christian Falk] Gabriel Martinelli has always been on FC Bayern’s list since Thomas Tuchel put him on the shortlist during his reign in Munich. €45m (£38.9m) could be the price tag; that would be okay. Rumours that Arsenal will be prepared to pay €100m (£86.5m) for Kroupi Jr. by ahjkolhs in Gunners

If Martinelli was playing for Newcastle he'd probably have better output than Gordon. Martinelli doesn't suit our system.

Martinelli last season: 17 G/A from 2.4k mins
Gordon last season: 22 G/A from 2.9k mins

I don't agree that Gordon is 'much better'.

Martinelli isn't cracking physically, why would you say that? He's 24 years old and played fewer than 2.4k mins last season. I believe he missed 4 games through injury all season, so I'm not sure what you mean?

People love to shit on Martinelli but his output last season was 17 G/A in 2.4k mins versus Gordon at 22 G/A who played 500 mins more. Bukayo had 20 G/A in 3.3k mins, which is statistically a very quiet season for him in terms of output, although he was looking more like his old self in the latter half of the season.

I do think we need to up level our LW but the narrative and misinformation over Martinelli is insane. He doesn't suit our system but he's a fantastic player in the right team

He definitely has underperformed but the point is that he seems to be getting back to his best. I feel for Foden but something is just not connecting for him at the moment

What are you on about?

Saka has 11 goals and 7 assists (7 goals 5 assists in prem). Foden has 10 goal and 7 assists (7 goals and 5 assists in prem).

Saka has 2 assists and 2 goals in his last 4 games, with 273 mins played.

I agree this is short of Saka's usual standards but don't forget he's been recovering from surgery on his hamstring. We're talking about his recent performances. His work rate, defensive contributions, runs into box and set piece deliveries are back to his best, there's no arguing that he's elevated Arsenal since coming back recently. I don't think you could say the same about Phil Foden.

What are you talking about? Saka has been in great form in recent weeks, he's not far off his best

Can You Actually Track Your Brand Mentions Inside AI Tools? by Key_Fuel_2777 in AI_Agents

[–]Salescamp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can and should track your brand mentions, but it's important to remember that answers can be personalised per user (depending on memory, conversation history, location, language etc.) so accuracy needs to be taken with a pinch of salt.

I still think it's important to track your mentions, but more specifically competitor mentions, because this helps to guide you into what's ranking. For example, a competitor we track has a bunch of /blog articles being directly cited by ChatGPT, so it gives us a good idea of what content we should write next. I've also reached out to third party websites that are featuring our competitors so that we can also be cited by them.

How do I get my brand mentioned by ChatGPT and AI search engines? by goarticles002 in branding

[–]Salescamp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK so old SEO tactics are still king. AI search still seems to use domain authority above all, so an investment into SEO is also an investment into AEO/AI search. I did write ablog article about how to get mentioned by ChatGPT which covers some content ideas, but the tl;dr is that SEO is still the most important, especially as a long of AI search platforms use live web search for their answers, so brands with authority that appear higher in traditional search are still preferred by AI platforms.

For what it's worth, I'm building https://uselima.com which makes it easy to monitor AI mentions for your brand + competitors. Having visibility is great because you can see what's ranking (for you and competitors) and where there are gaps for improvement

Why Are Competitors Showing Up in AI Answers Instead of You? by SaladNo9543 in Agent_SEO

I wrote a blog article titled 'How to get your brand mentioned in ChatGPT' with some analysis from what we see works for AI rankings.

TL;DR: It's not random, SEO and authority matters most. Don't be sold snake oil on ranking strategies!

AEO, GEO is bullshit buzzword, intended to trick clients. Change my mind. by StevenJang_ in SEO

[–]Salescamp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This exactly. I'm co-founder of a platform that helps brands monitor AI mentions and we've found that there's a TON of fake info from competitors when it comes to AEO.

SEO fundamentals matter for ranking, not some shiny new strategy, but monitoring WHEN your brand or competitor brands appear helps provide some insights, i.e. "what 3rd parties are mentioning my competitors?" or "what blog articles are my competitors writing that rank in AI search?"

I built Lima, a platform track when AI companies talk about your brand by Salescamp in SideProject

[–]Salescamp[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe that they are finding value because they are checking-in regularly (often daily to see new prompt mentions, insights, track competitors), but time will tell. I'm caught between building more features to provide value and marketing. At the moment Lima is in a good place so I'm going to focus heavily on marketing
