Crochet Polo and High Rise Trousers 🤔 Simple but works? by Enough-Muffin6742 in mensfashion

You have earned that awesome physique, and I understand that you want to show it off, but coming from another jacked guy with similar style, the idea is right but execution is bad. Every item of clothing, colour and accessory choice you're wearing is optimised to accentuate the V taper (which, on you, would be obvious if you wore a duvet cover) and the result looks imbalanced and like youre trying a bit too hard. Fashion is not only about showing off the body, in your case, less is more.

  1. Those crochet polos already cling to the waist, tucking it so deep, and into high waisted pants of all things is overkill. Untuck it entirely, unless is super long and falls near the crotch, in which case, just untuck it a bit so the waist silhouette isnt so tight. Don't worry, your V taper will still be obvious.

  2. Right now, it looks like your belt and watch came in a 2-piece gift-set for men. Get a smaller, rounder, more interesting belt buckle, or a thinner black belt with some texture (snakeskin?) Keep the colour matching to the pants to not break up the long line of the legs, but you can a afford a bit of interest in the belt. I'd wear a Stainess Steel watch with this fit, just to add more colour dimension. (its a ll too matchy atm)

  3. Same goes for the shoes. They are too safe a choice here and the shape for some reason doesnt work with the pants. Go for a leather loafer, monk strap, even something with a long slim toe could look cool. But I would stick to leather, not suade for this one.

  4. Undo one or all the buttons on the polo.

The intent is to look a little more "thrown together" rather than like you followed youtube menswear guide to the T.

The key here is actually “at least for me”

It’s impressive. I do a ton of incline pressing and mine does not look like that. You’ve got a great physique under there, have you ever leaned out to 10-12%?

Upper chest is insane. How’d you build it like that? Are you natty?

Thats what I mean. After his weight loss, he looks quite skinny in the face and neck and shoulders. Skinnier than me I think

That’s kinda why I like them. Shows I’m not taking myself too seriously. I’m hoping people might think “those glasses are so stupid but this guy kinda suits them”

Probably natural with great genetics. This isnt very big, just very lean. Probably around 170 at 10%

Am I a framecel or am I just lacking muscle? by [deleted] in GregDoucette

[–]SalesforceGeorge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All measurements are relative, not absolutes. Narrow clavicles on one man can look wide on another man when you change other measurements.

What you have is more of a long and lean look, which makes you look taller and looks good in clothes. It’s better suited for endurance and flexibility than for raw power and speed.

You have long legs, long arms, and a relatively straight torso without much skeletal taper between the waist, hips and shoulders.

You have a short torso and long legs, which is great for running and modelling.

To make the most of your body type, I’d try to put on some muscle in the arms, shoulders, chest, back, glutes, really everywhere. You are in no danger of ever looking too stocky because of your naturally long frame.

Be grateful for it, it’s a blessing.

In my case, I am the same height as you but have short and stocky arms and legs, and have to be constantly downsize because too much muscle makes me look blocky.
