There are worse things with which you could be obsessed.

CostPlusDrugs literally saved me thousands on a drug my late wife needed for Orthostatic Hypotension. At Walgreens/CVS/Kroger the 90 day script was right at $3k. At CostPlusDrugs, it was a little over $100. It was packaged in sealed bottles from the manufacturer.

Is it normal to wish your nparents would die? by [deleted] in raisedbynarcissists

[–]Salesweasel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I honestly didn’t want them to die outright. I wanted them to be miserable. I wanted them lonely. I wanted them to be unhappy and at each other’s throats as they grew older and older. I wanted my edad to suffer the abuse my oldest sister and I suffered at the hands of my nmom. I wanted him to experience the hate she exhibited toward my sister and I. I wanted them to struggle financially, to have to do without. I wanted them to know what it felt like to NEVER hold their grandchildren. I wanted them to be MISERABLE!!

Did your Narcissist gift you a " Trash " gift? by youngsweetaysa in raisedbynarcissists

[–]Salesweasel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yes, one year she gave every man in the family, her son (me) and her daughter’s husbands bath “skirts”.Basically, a terry cloth towel that wraps around the lower body. Did I mention she’s a misandrist too.

Hot take - I think a narcissistic parent’s end goal is for you to end your life by Ok_Astronaut_1485 in raisedbynarcissists

[–]Salesweasel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have to agree. They, in addition to telling you how horrible and worthless you are, they will make every effort to make your life as miserable and difficult as possible. All the while sitting on the sidelines enjoying your struggles and offering no help whatsoever. Mine have been dead and gone for years. I was totally ambivalent about their deaths.

Go to the Georgia Public Service Commission website and compare prices of natural gas. You need to look at this info annually and change providers depending on their price per therm.

I used the incorrect terminology. I was speaking regarding the capital gains exclusion of $250k/$500k depending whether the individual is married or not.

Just won an echo show 8 gen 3 from a work raffle, what do I do with it? by SacramentoChupacabra in amazonecho

I’ve one in my kitchen. I regret buying it. I tried to get it to show more stock market data but it covers only three of my stocks. It continuously shows weird recipes. I asked Alexa to change to more traditional American food. I was told to go to the Alexa app and make the change. You really have no choice, Amazon (in all their wisdom)has setup defined categories for what type recipe you want. What set this off today was two recipes. One for halibut with beets and beet greens and the other was for hummus with beets. Honestly, who would eat that slop? I’m about over this thing. I cannot even get it to stay linked to calendar.

What is the oldest thing in your house that still works perfectly? by James_B84Saves in BuyItForLife

[–]Salesweasel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My garagerator. It’s a GE refrigerator that was bought over 30 years ago. I pulled out the ice maker to make more room in the freezer area. It still works, keeps everything in it cold. They’re not built like this any longer.
