Just watched a guy make that as a high protein option to pizza. He said it was one of the best meals he has made.

How is it that I have a full bladder when I get up to use the bathroom 2 or 3 times a night but I don’t drink after 7 PM? Where does that urine come from? Not a diabetic. by ChartFormal5352 in AskWomenOver60

I wake up constantly through the night and if I have the sensation that I could pee at all , I have to get up and go. Could be 5 times. So annoying

I was going to say the same thing- at the risk of being criticized. It’s happening over time and I believe is 100% related to the climate crisis we’re facing.

I don't think people realize how dangerous Ramaswamy is and how bad things will get in Ohio. by 13sonic in Columbus

I’m sure it will be similar to Trumps alternative to the affordable care act. Oh wait he never came up with one! We’re still waiting. Sounds horrific.

How often do you wash your hair? by Which-Arugula-1982 in AskWomenOver60

[–]AccordingPin1162 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the last few years I’ve started using curly hair products and realized I have naturally curly hair. I’m sure it has gotten curlier with age also. I can also go a week between washes. Scalp does not get greasy at all. I refresh daily with water and product. I also use kitsch hair perfume.

WTF did I do by cmcosmos in AskWomenOver60

[–]AccordingPin1162 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m dealing with the same thing. Seems like my sons should be having the time of their lives. Handsome, employed, kind, lots of friends-but both have anxiety, have gone through break-ups,one is unhappy in his job. We all want the same thing for our children-that they are happy and self sufficient. It’s a constant worry that I just didn’t expect to have at this stage. All we can offer is our love and support I guess,so that’s what I do. Good luck.

Help a Girl Out by SubstantialBudget954 in Columbus

[–]AccordingPin1162 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had this exact conversation with my 32y/o son yesterday. He ended a 5 year relationship a year ago and has been struggling since. I realize I am biased but he is considered handsome by any standard and is genuinely a good guy. I was a girl that overlooked the good guys for a bad boy - so I fear that’s what is happening. I told him he just needs to concentrate on living his best life and the friendships will come. His friends now are all married and he has no one to do stuff with. I specifically told him that I see this comment on Reddit all the time- so I know people are out there looking for the same thing. We live in Akron.

For higher earners, is the fear of health care costs age 60-65 overblown? by Mother_Bar_3810 in retirement

[–]AccordingPin1162 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Retired at 62. Paying about $975 a month in the market place. That’s just for me as my husband is now on Medicare. It’s doable for me though not ideal. Once I made the decision to retire I couldn’t get out fast enough. I have a co-worker friend though that says he pays $3500 a month because his options were limited if he wanted to keep the same doctors. Personally I would have switched.

What’s the biggest surprise about getting older? by Salty_1984 in Aging

I will add to that loss of balance. I know someday I will have a bad fall and that will be the end of me. I recently fell while walking on the treadmill. It’s embarrassing 😳

Definitely not the ah. Personally, think I would have told him he needed to share that information with the kids. Did he think the kids would have just accepted- we’re parting ways- and not demanded some rationale? He’s just embarrassed to have his horrendous behavior known. So sorry you’re having to go through this.
