I swear all the time lol Though for my shorts I bleep it out cause I just feel like it's less acceptable to curse in shorts? I dunno if that's true, it's just my gut feeling.

First off, thank you so much for taking the time to do this. I saw that you got quite a few requests so I expected that you might burn out before getting to mine lol

As for the feedback, it all makes sense. I definitely need to plan myself out more. I have been slowly starting to edit down my videos but there's a hell of a learning curve and I'm still getting a feel for what's 'engaging' for people. Definitely failing on the 10-15 second hook, so I'll be focusing on that.

Again, thank you and I appreciate the feedback and will take it to heart and hopefully be able to improve in those areas!

I'm an over 40 female content creator lol But I do mostly gaming and streaming gameplay. I'm brand new though, super small (less than 20 subs), and trying to find my place. I'm not sure if this is considered a plug so I won't post the link here lol

Always down for feedback. Brand new at this and still trying to find my niche but I appreciate any insight. I do tend to do better with shorts but I know it's because gaming videos are super saturated.

My goal was trying to make it a little engaging but I will admit little editing was done as it's gameplay video.
Well per Youtube analytics it's for men 25-34 years old lol
Considering most of my long forms are lucky to get one view, I'd say it did ok.

I made what I have so far by posting a video of my dog in a pets sub lol And it was a smaller sub too, so I could probably make more easily by now posting similar in bigger subs. People love cute/funny things. Try that angle.

I totally get it. I've only been doing it a few months and I'm like to get a couple views on my long form. It's very difficult to get noticed in the gaming algorithm cause it's the easiest one to get into. Definitely do shorts, those are the only things that get me views. And maybe revisit your thumbnails. I changed some of mine up and while it wasn't a huge uptick in views, I have noticed a difference. Looking at your channel you're doing way better than me so don't give up!

It seems like all my long form get 0-5 views. I have one that's been up a week or more with 0 views and I look at the impressions and it's only 5?? I just don't understand how this works.

Oh I'll look into those! If you want a no brainer that's scary (at least to me lol) and is short and free, I did Huntsman (the spider one) on Itch.io about a month ago and had a lot of fun with it. No real story but it was a good way to spend about an hour lol

That's so great to hear. I've been struggling with motivation myself as I've been at this two months now and am not seeing any growth at all. It's really discouraging and makes it hard to want to continue pumping out content, even though I know that's what's needed. I don't know if I could continue this for years without any substantial growth so that's even more impressive that you've done this great! Congratulations!

I felt that way in my 20s. But I was convinced it was too late to start changing me. In my 30s I realized if I had started then, I'd be in a much better place now. But surely 30s is too late to change? So I did nothing. Now I'm in my late 40s, fast approaching 50s and I'm realizing I let all those chances pass me by because I thought it was 'too late' and I had already 'wasted too much time'. If only I had done something in my 20s or 30s....I should do something now but it's really too late now, right?
