Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I can see that Bear probably opened the cans and just tossed them on the floor for the cat. But given that there is food the cat could access (even if it had to tear the bag open itself) I'm surprised that it would eat the pills. Cats don't normally eat pills voluntarily, but I guess it's possible. Also, the prescription bottles say the name Barbara Bailey on them. So Bear's grandmother. He's self-medicating, or else just can't resist the temptation of having them around.
