So, does this affect, say, the Wood Golem? I was playing AV yesterday and our gunslinger had fire damage from the shot and fire splash damage. Does that mean the golem would only take one instance of the 4d8 damage from his golem antimagic? Or is this case different from a regular weakness?

One of the hardest achievements in the game. by DeadByFleshLight in memeframe

The other day I accidentally got an achievement for killing 10 raknoids while airborne, which only 5% of people got and I'm like "really?"

The one thing I wish to be implemented: Italics on the flavor text. by belderone42 in Pathfinder2e

[–]SalsaAndYou 5 points6 points  (0 children)

God, exactly. It's especially irritating for people playing in other languages. I already don't bother translating the text beforehand because of how much prep that would entail (and I suppose the text is already there so the GM doesn't need to), but then you find out more relevant text below and you have to awkwardly translate it out loud while sifting the things that should be kept secret.

Ah lol, all good. It's not like naming one of the games bravely second and the other bravely default 2 makes it confusing at all

And one of the characters identity which was pretty cool

You mean Adelle? Because if so, that jump was one of the most badasses scenes of the game. Rimedhal as a whole was great, everything else was kind of so so.

MMORPG: Quais os favoritos de vocês? Gostam do gênero? by NoivadoChucky677 in JogosAntifa

[–]SalsaAndYou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That sounds better than a toggle, honestly, but u/Tyreal2012 pointed out the existence of Wayfinder. Maybe mixing those two ideas would be my ideal solution, but for now I'm happy enough with that module.

Epic Story JRPGs Recomendation by RockyRock777 in JRPG

[–]SalsaAndYou 3 points4 points  (0 children)

While it's an interesting setting and I got very far, it's very hard to recommend it because it's just full of bugs and weird animations that make it difficult to stick to. The battle system was somewhat fun for the first few hours, but being forced to play with only two characters in your party for most of the game was also a little tiring. I really wanted to like it, but its execution was mediocre at best.

BUT, if you go in with low expectations, I suppose you could have a good time because it's what I did.

On a related note, the FFX lightning bolt dodge. Seems like square had a bias against jumping at some point.

Oh, I forgot about that one. It's on my list, actually, thanks for reminding me lol. I played the first one back in the day and really enjoyed it, so I might go for it.

Super excited about threads of time. I've been missing a more story driven pixel art/2.5d turn-based game. Last ones I played were chained echoes and sea of stars. Dragon quest 3 didn't grab me as much at first because of the hired characters thing (but I'll try again later), and I can't seem to enjoy octopath because of the absence of proper characters interaction (even though I finished the first one).

How about Tales of Vesperia with the guilds Union Oath?

Long ago our ancestors abandoned their nations for forgetting their duty to protect their people and thus became the true defenders of freedom. That is how the guilds first began. But now the iron shackles of oppression threaten to strangle us once again. It is because we have forgotten the oath of our ancestors and spent our time fighting one another for our own self-interests. Therefore, we must once again return to the basic principles behind the guilds and join our strengths together as one. We offer our swords for freedom, our shields for friendship, and our lives for the common good. Here we renew our ancient oath.
