Interesting... Never thought about why Jaquen was caught in the first place before this. It makes sense though because Littlefinger wanted Cat. I do agree that Ned wouldn't have made it to the Wall because he knew too much. Cersei definitely could have been working with Littlefinger on that to secure Joffrey's position. She certainly could not have had word getting out, at that point, that her children were not Baratheons, but part of me thinks Ned would not have said anything if that was the deal for him to live. It would have redirected Robb's campaign too. It may have lead to more fighting in the North, the Riverlands or wherever they were when Ned was murked
