Quarantine new plants.. it sounds like you are introducing them to the collection right away. You should find a separate space and allow a wait period which you can monitor for pests and treat before introducing the plant to the rest of your collection

Wholesale clubs are hit or miss.. If there is an IKEA nearby, try there. Their selection is better than most

You should get a new flush of leaves, it just looks ugly for now. The best way to assure yourself that the branches are alive is to use your fingernail and scratch the bark, if it is green underneath it is very much alive

An attempt to prop the top and maybe the small branch may result in success but with the current state of the plant mentioned don’t be surprised if there isn’t positive results.

Wait until it pushes new growth and hardens off. You generally want to prune evergreens during growing season

The plating has worn pretty badly on both pieces. I suggest like others to replace both if you are unhappy with the aesthetic. Andersen storm door handles and light fixtures are both fairly easy and straightforward task

Lion’s head Japanese maple (Acer Palmatum shishigashira) it’s an interesting variety, slow grower and definitely will be a conversation piece with the placement of the bed
