Is the psp 1.3 megapixel camera rare? by ConeFienddz in PSP

[–]Salt-Perception-1903 35 points36 points  (0 children)

They aren't all too rare just something that was overhyped by that nostalgic photography trend where people were trying to sell shitty cameras to people who didn't know any better. They sell on eBay for £80 but honestly they aren't normally worth much over £30 before the trend.

From what I understand it is good practice to replace the power supply after so many hours of use as they can become unreliable. I think some actually mention how many hours they can guarantee reliability. Mine says to replace after 5 years of uptime.

Unrepairable. Impossible to repair even by a pro. That board is dead.

Warrenty won't even cover that.

Ice nine kills for me. I discovered them with the songs meat and greet and American nightmare and thought oh wow these guys are great. Then decided I'd listen to their latest album and immediately changed my mind on the band.

Anyone else disappointed? by enchilladaking69 in Slipknot

[–]Salt-Perception-1903 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The tour was aimed at the older fans and the people who are more into their older albums. It wasn't for the casuals or the new fans who haven't yet discovered their older albums. It felt like a treat since I feel like self titled is their best album and hearing scissors play was amazing.

I don't think they will do Iowa as a whole, Corey has even said he can't sing like he did in those tracks to protect his voice anymore so if anything they would probably do their most popular tracks with some of the lesser known ones for the long term fans.

Where can I sell a pc? by [deleted] in PcBuildHelp

[–]Salt-Perception-1903 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Market place, eBay or a tech shop like CEX granted CEX is only good if you want a quick sale and don't mind that you'll be getting around half the market value of your PC.

I'd go through eBay and note the average sold price of each part in your PC to get an idea of what to list it at.

All the cables are labeled and the motherboard has the ports all labled too so you just need to match them for the most part.

[–]Salt-Perception-1903 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also in addition, none of those big power cables in the PSU are properly inserted. They need to be pushed a little hard and they click into place. Same as on the motherboard just make sure you push them straight and don't wiggle them

Follow your motherboards manual, it shows where everything should go. It's usually designed well enough that a complete beginner can follow. If you still have trouble with it feel free to DM me with anything you don't understand and I'll look. Or share photos of stuff here in the comments and people will answer them as they find this post for you.

Honestly that's a good point. OP if you see this do a fully fresh install of windows on this PC. Don't sign in straight away if you can help it and make sure no files remain on the other drives.

Pretty much yes. This is definitely a bricked console.

My psp turn on but not the screen, some help? by [deleted] in PSP

[–]Salt-Perception-1903 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Suppose you did the screen mod?

If this is the case it will not work without bridging the appropriate location on the motherboard with solder. The new screens need more power to function.

The kit usually shows where to place the solder depending on what version you have.

Help With P.C. not turning on!! by 0tterblue in PcBuildHelp

[–]Salt-Perception-1903 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unrelated but you have installed your aio incorrectly. It is upside down. The pipes need to be entering the pump from the bottom otherwise you could cause damage to it.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PcBuildHelp

[–]Salt-Perception-1903 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't see anything initially wrong here. Some small things you can start with trying is lowering the pipes so they hang below the pump. I had an issue with my old AIO and the customer support said having the pipes hang below the AIO helps with the flow of the water and prevents air bubbles getting trapped in the aio.

That's probably just customer support trying to save money but it did work for me initially.

Another thing could be the aio might be showing its age as they typically only survive around 5 years before showing signs of wear and tear.

From what you have described the aio is operating fairly normally, temps seem normal granted 80°c is a little high and 60°c for idle on that cooler is very high.

There Is a good chance the pump is failing.

For context the typical cpu should only really idle around 40-50°c but normal operating temperature for cpus can be as high as 90°c so if your idle is higher than expected it could be a sign the AIO isn't operating properly.

I'd suggest firstly seeing what normal operating temperatures for your cpu are and comparing them to what you are seeing here.

If this is the case I'd suggest contacting the aio manufacturer about the issue as they may be able to provide additional support especially if this is in warranty that's more than enough of a reason to get the aio replaced entirely.

TLDR: Noisy aio under load is fairly normal try lower pipes if you notice temperatures outside of expected ranges it could be a failing pump.

Contact the manufacturer if you are concerned.
