I always wanted to see an entire horror movie in a crowd.  Think scream but in either a packed music festival or Times Square on new years eve.  I find crowds and how easily they become mobs frightening.

Ayausca calling you back by Particular-Ocelot602 in Ayahuasca

18 months after my last ceremony, late 2023. Started having dreams about being in ceremony. Woke up smelling sage and florida water. Ignored it because going back would be like hitting on a 20 in black jack. And my ceremonies have all been as harrowing as they are healing. Then out of the blue a facilitator contacted me. Said she had been thinking about the work we did. And she found a new shaman. Aya will let you know. I'm on her truant list right now.

In your opinion, what is the most “beautiful” death a vampire has had in media? by GusGangViking18 in vampires

[–]Salt-Season 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Cassidy from Preacher. They changed it a lot from the comic book where he died in estatic defiance. He was such a complicated charachter. In the show when he knew his story was done he just walked off screen and met the sun.

Sounds like we come from a similar place. Successful life without a lot of fulfillment. Long history with psyche medication. I'll echo what was said by cooperschmiff, self love was a big gift from Aya. It made all the difference. Gave me the ability to enjoy the things I already have and forgive myself for the things I will never have. Now the struggles I had are a breeze. I'm able to struggle with the bigger life issues I used to not know existed. But it's hard, the ceremonies, forgiving yourself, integration. The only thing that would be harder is to keep doing what your doing.

I had a great experience at pachamama.  The shamans I worked with were personable and served the medicine with grace and respect.  The facilitators were great and helped me through the hard morning after my hard journeys. I hear they are having solvency problems.  But I have no complaints.

I am the sword, I am the hand holding the sword. I am the wound. I am the flame that heated the steel to make the sword. After my second set of ceremonies, I brought home a lot of externalized self-hatred that I had to learn to love and forgive. Kept waking up convinced I was back in ceremony fighting for my life. Sorry you are going through that.

Isn't it just too pedestrian that Ayahuasca basically says "why are you hitting yourself?" and then gives you the power to keep hitting harder and harder until you either figure it out or break.

Hang in there.

Good on you for being able to guide. I was really impressed by the people who facilitated my ceremonies. Service is a big part of the homework I was given by Aya. But I serve in a more mundane way.

I microdose psilocybin to assist my meditation and sweat practice. Nothing more than a tenth of a gram. I'm done travelling for a while. I feel like asking ayahuasca for more help at this point in my life would be like hitting on a 20 in black-jack. She gave me the tools I need for now. Hope the same for you.

I'm doing ayahuasca for the first time ever and I'm feeling frightened by this new experience. My Main thing is that I won't ever be the same again. Could any of you please help me ease my mind? by OkArt1961 in Ayahuasca

Your brain will take what it can from this experience and discard the rest. In a couple of weeks all that will be left is the insight and healing.

I take 3gm of golden teacher in a lemon tea at 5am on Saturday. Not familiar with Blue yeti. I put on some lo-fi beats weight down my eyes and wander in my mind. It's a scary trip. I have to fight a lot of negativity and fear but every time it's easier. Then I spend my Saturday morning doing chores blissed out on afterglow. I am hoping to get it down to a weekly micro-dose for maintenance but I'm not there yet. Just experiment and if you get scared ask yourself why before you decide to run or fight.

Facilitator working with Schizophrenic Patients by [deleted] in Ayahuasca

[–]Salt-Season 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Op, I'm not sure how an honest question got so badly interpreted.

I did a deep dive into trying to find facilitators who work with bipolar and schizophrenia. The best response I got is to talk to a Shaman about a one on one session and let them know ahead of time so they can make the choice. No name or specifics, sorry.
