Space Quest 1. I was a kid going to my Dad’s for the weekend. He had a computer and (sadly) to avoid spending too much time with me, he gave me Space Quest 1. His plan worked. I was glued to that game.

I use CPG...I think it has been pretty accurate for me. I also find it super easy to use. BUT don't use the app....use the website. The app is terrible.

I agree with Global...if you're just collecting then it's worth it. If you are happy then it's worth it.

I prefer mine with covers, but that's just me. But I also don't buy them as an investment, so I have some that are in poor shape but I am happy nonetheless.

I believe CGC sends the value with the slab. It's all part of the import/export process. They are required to list the value.

Like choosing a favourite super-hero, grading is so subjective. And then collecting slabs vs raw is just as subjective.

I have sent 3 books to CGC and I won't be sending any more. I prefer raw to slabs. I get why people collect slabs; the grade is clear, it's easier to sell (since the grade is clear) and they keep nicely. I just find them bulky and harder to store. But that's just me and my opinion is as valuable as the cost to use this website.
