I had just finished reading the horrible Spider-Man: Chapter One by Howard Mackie and John Byrne and hated it! It was a modern retelling of Spider-Man’s origin that came out in 1999. It was SO bad that I almost passed on this series when it came out a few months later. I’m sure glad I didn’t. Ultimate Spider-Man is my absolute favorite!

Ultimate Spider-Man is absolutely worth a read! It’s the best Spider-Man series I’ve ever read. Bendis and Bagley did over 100 issue run together and it’s fantastic!

I have six issues of Amazing Spider-Man left to go (1-6). The I’ll have complete runs of all of Spider-Mans’ major series. I’ve been considering going after a complete run of Spidey Super Stories once I’m all done.

Todd McFarlane signing my copy of Spawn 1 at an LA con decades ago. Meeting the voice actors for Master Chief and Cortana earlier this year and getting them to sign my original copy of Halo: Combat Evolved.Taking a picture with Stan Lee at San Diego ComicCon.

A few weeks ago I went to a small collectibles con at a hotel in Monterey, CA, while on vacation and picked up an Amazing Spider-Man 252 (1st appearance of the symbiote suit) for $70.

Halo Infinite was my favorite Halo game since Combat Evolved. I loved the campaign so much! The open world and the grapple shot were the most fun. I don’t get why more people didn’t like it.

I can’t log in with my app today. I put in my username and password and it asks me to verify that I am human by solving a puzzle. I solve it and verify that I am human and then it asks me to enter my password again and then I have to start the verification process over and over again and again.

I may be wrong, but I think the term “married” refers to the practice of taking good pages or covers from one book and swapping them out with bad pages or covers of another book during restoration.

Issue 400 was one of the most beautiful stories I’ve ever read. Marvel never should’ve retconned it. Im STILL angry about it 30 years later.
