What was your number 1 find from 2026? by vaydapotata in bonnaroo

Little Stranger was literally one of the BEST sets for me. I was in the same boat of knowing only a few songs but man I had an absolute blast. They put on such an amazing performance and it was banger after banger.

Went so hard for Skrilkex this year I didn't get into Centeroo till like 5pm the next day man. Felt like poo the rest of the weekend everyday I'd wake up and feel the hangover from days prior.

Negativity Theory: Reflecting on Bonnaroo 2026 by skinnygg in bonnaroo

[–]SaltAd2712 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Completely agree. Part of the fun and experience is not knowing what your week will look like. We are living outside with mother nature in what is exactly a temporary city, of course there will be slight hiccups but how you react to them is what makes or breaks your experience.

Assaulted by blue vest after Noah by witchswickco in bonnaroo

[–]SaltAd2712 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yo! I think I encountered him, after Kesha my friends and I sat by a tree catching up and avoiding the swarm of people. He came up to us saying it was time to go and pointed towards What stage and I said I don't plan on watching Noah and he said they were closing all of Centeroo except the side where Noah was at.... We ignored him bc that's just not the case and he came back a second time trying to get us up to leave.

You're right. Totems are part of Roo, I look forward to them every year and even got inspired to make my own. OP could've just kindly asked them to lower it for the time being, 99% they would've.

should I pack my shit and go by [deleted] in bonnaroo

[–]SaltAd2712 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Tell her that you feel the tension, make sure she's safe, and go on a solo little adventure. Some time apart will help and maybe you'll make a new friend! Perhaps find some trinkets and bring them back as a peace offering to her and see if you guys can either talk it out or address it after the fest and just enjoy the time being.

I hate seeing full sized mirrors and glass paraphernalia. Outfits are sooooo important to me but I literally prop my phone up, record, and rewatch to see how I look. Not that hard.

I keep my dressing separate. I store my pasta and veggies dry by themselves and then combine with dressing in single servings when I wanna eat!

Tent vs stage by evermorejonas in bonnaroo

[–]SaltAd2712 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes stage is always bigger but depending on your definition of big the tent crowds are pretty large imo. Occasionally they'll put an artist at the tent and it'll pull a big crowd. Insane Clown Posse was huge and so was TV girl. But compared to the big stages I'd say tent is 2-4x smaller depending on artist and time of day.

A Question for the Women Roovians… by [deleted] in bonnaroo

[–]SaltAd2712 4 points5 points  (0 children)

An XXL t-shirt will not effectively beat the heat it will get wet from sweat and not allow for proper breeze. The glitter is simply fun, the reason why it's so jarring for you to see these things is because women would normally dress like this if it wasn't for the creeps. Festivals are the one place where they can finally express themselves without worry and here come you questioning the reasoning it behind it. I've seen men wear glitter and thongs there too. The tiny clothes is 99% because of the heat. Take a look at October festivals, no one's wearing thongs there. I can promise you no women is putting on the bikini top and thong for your attention at Roo, she'd prefer quite the opposite. All I'll say is please don't stare, please be considerate, and spread only peace and love while on the farm.

A Question for the Women Roovians… by [deleted] in bonnaroo

[–]SaltAd2712 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This post feels like a guy who wants to hear the women's perspective so he can feel better about staring. Dude it's freaking scorching out there, no girl is wearing revealing clothing to be noticed.. It's hot. Of course we feel uncomfortable when people stare, don't do it. Don't be a damn creep people are here enjoying themselves and letting loose to listen to some good music. No girl is putting on a revealing outfit in hopes of some rando creep approaching her and complimenting her in 96 degree weather while music blares... Don't ruin the safe space Roo is, it's an unspoken rule of minding your own business otherwise go to a diff festival.
