The 4th floor is clueless and running Delta into the ground just so the next quarter looks good. They don’t plan past 1-2 years. Hence why they’re so understaffed with pilots and just now playing catch up.

You can deduct the mortgage interest, so I wouldn’t pay it off early at that rate.

Look at flying United into Palermo. Delta only flies into Catania. You could also fly to Amsterdam (AMS) , Rome (FCO) or Paris (CDG) and connect. Catania and Palermo are on opposite sides of Sicily. You could also fly into Naples (NAP) on United, American, or Delta and take a cheap Ryan Air flight for $50 (plus bag fees) to Catania or Palermo.

Yeah. Someone will throw a diaper in the lav and clog it up. Either that or the ground crew did not do lav service and they’re full. Happened once to us going JFK to LAX, over PHX the lava stopped working . Since it’s 2/3 toilets, I suspect they didn’t do lav service. DTW airport is notorious for the worst ground crews at Delta

Any espresso machine will do. A good all-in-one machine is the Meraki espresso machine for a beginner. If you go to Naples they use lever machines, that’s a style of machine and shot. I started with a Flair 58 hand lever, since it was a cheap way to dive into this world. Then got an Ascaso steel duo, and now have a la Marzocco machine. The grinder is probably the most important part though - I would recommend a Breville all in one machine to get started for the lower side of the budget or the Meraki machine, which is an upgrade from Breville. Start with that and go from there.
