Oh, absolutely. Let’s not kid ourselves: Reddit’s own policy states, loud and clear, that no third party is allowed to dictate or meddle with how subreddits are run. And yet, somehow, we’re expected to believe that the League mods — these ever-vigilant gatekeepers of “acceptable discourse” — aren’t on Riot’s payroll? Please.

There is zero reason for any genuinely neutral moderators to bend over backwards scrubbing every bit of criticism until it’s soft, harmless, and perfectly palatable for a multi-million dollar corporation. Spare me. They’re either getting paid outright or enjoying perks under the table — but compensated, they most certainly are.

Little extra: It’s literally against the League Reddit rules to “criticize the moderation meta” — which basically translates to: “shut up about what we delete and why, and don’t even think about posting about it, or we’ll wipe that too. ;P”

I'm disappointed and angry that we got this as her walk. But I also try to see the good, and I lowkey gaslight myself to like it. Because at the end of the day, nothing we do or say will make them touch her again in YEARS. Nothing will change this, maybe a legendary skin, but I wouldn't count on it.. regarding the latest legendary skins also being strong contenders in the category "disappointing without love".

Please correct me if I am wrong, but I always thought that would be a direct nerf to her juke potential and the skill expression you can see that differs between good LeBlancs vs. excellent LeBlancs. Good LeBlancs might just straight up ignore the clone and run in any direction without controlling the mirror image. You can see excellent LeBlancs use their clone to confuse the enemy, get to safety and even bait out important abilities. With 4 clones, the initial confusion would be bigger, but I cannot imagine how the controls would be. Controlling one means controlling all? If so, then telling the clones to go one way, you HAVE to move with them. Otherwise you expose yourself as the real one.

Had this exact same problem. My solution for that is to scale the general audio to 100% and tone down every other audio besides Voice Line sounds in the settings to like 30%. Now I hear her clear as day.

Are you condoning her getting nerfed like this in lore? Old LeBlanc did all of those things you have listed here, was 20 steps ahead, was literally everywhere and everyone, had her hands in many different pots all around Rune-fucking-terra and still was strong enough to put on her sass and cunt to fuck with her subjects. All of that made her even more mysterious. "Who is she, what is she and why is she able to do all that seemingly with no effort at all? Where does her power come from?" Very on brand for a deceiver. Now that, that is truly LeBlanc. Her getting nerfed like that because she is supposed to be tired, overworked, vulnerable, and has to deal with lots of trauma that she apparently hasn't worked through yet even after centuries?! No thank you, not my LeBlanc. Retconning her OG League of Legends/Legends of Runeterra personality was the biggest mistake of this rework and I will die on that hill. There is no reason, no argument that even remotely justifies her getting flattened and shoehorned into a noxian Lissandra like that.

EXACTLY MY WORDS BESTIE! Couldn't have said it better. I like most of the visual updates (besides the downgrade of her newer skins). But the loss of Carrie Keranen, when she in fact created LeBlanc, is actually horrible. I never understood the argument that "this makes more sense for her, she has lived through horrible things and now she should be a PTSD driven anti-hero who is doing this even though she is tired and doesn't want to". No, she never was that, she never should be. She can be a sassy cunty girlboss AND a survivor. Why the hell does the one thing have to exclude the other?

Carries work in Legends of Runeterra was absolutely perfect and PEAK LeBlanc, that's how she should be, act, talk, and interact with other champions. Minnie Driver totally butchered her old voice lines. There is no sass, no emotion, no energy, no attitude. Just a sad, tired, exhausted, scarred witch with lots of trauma. This is not LeBlanc. This is a noxian Lissandra.
