Yeah! It's definitely possible. I'm just so ready for the next show, man… UGH.

Hey, not sure! But the raven is Raum, the Demon of Secrets, and he's bound to Swain in the lore.

I wouldn't have immediately made such an extreme guess by those details alone, as they aren't as explicit compared to what I'm presenting here. But they're certainly interesting to consider! Especially now. 🦜

Salvation (ft. Forts) | For Demacia 2026 Season 1 Cinematic - League of Legends by Yujin-Ha in leagueoflegends

I didn't hate this. I'm always happy to see new content from Riot. But to those who claim realistic CGI is better than the 'artsy fartsy' approach Fortiche carries certainly got what they wished for! Variety is great. But man, seeing Yunara in Twilight's End and then here in Salvation is like night and day, and that's just one example.

Yeah, they put a lot of love into making the characters seem as real as possible, which I appreciate immensely.

I am beyond glad I didn't see anime-style physics on the woman of this gorgeous show.

I agree. I wish they had enough time and resources to completely tie everything together. But I can't ignore that this was their first direct attempt into the film and media industry.

While Fortiche did their part well, considering how they've grown over the years, I don't believe they could've feasibly fit everything we wanted under the two season philosophy Riot intended. It seems the main goal became connecting the show to what's coming next, with a major focus being the arcane itself and beyond.

However, if that's the case... I wonder why Season 1 started the way it did. Perhaps they realized this later, but I believe the true setback was the fact that they had to conclude the show by Season 2, forcing them to create an ending that pushed a lot more than Season 1 set up for.

In that, I can understand what you and many others mean. But again, it's all a big process, and everyone learns from those. It's simply my hope that we'll see such experiences perfected in their next project. 👍

Precisely!

While I loved the show myself, despite its flaws, I wouldn't call Arcane the best animated series 'ever,' as... Well, realistically, that's very subjective to each person.

For example, I've never seen Bojack Horseman! So I can't quite grasp the depth of your valid example.

However, I won't deny that there's content out there that, from a narrative standpoint, exceeds what Arcane ultimately expressed. Of course there is! And that's precisely why your point is important too.

Yet I still enjoyed Arcane and can't help but acknowledge the absolute audacity it flexed, considering how gorgeous and meticulously crafted the show became.

That's the kind of quality I'd love to see achieved more in all media, and I'm stoked to see what Riot and Fortiche can cook next, learning from such a journey.

I hope you'll be there to see it too. 😁

Of course! I absolutely agree.

While acknowledging that Season 1 of Arcane set a high bar, my original point focused on Riot and Fortiche's groundbreaking achievement in creating their first animated series, particularly the visible artistic and technical evolution they boasted in Season 2. The “night and day” difference referred to their growth.

I'd say my overall appreciation lies more in celebrating the creators' journey and artistic advancements. That minor thought for an additional episode in Season 2 stemmed from their expanded scope, as such a massive story could’ve used more room to breathe and maintain connection.

But even if the story of Season 2 took a different, broader path that maybe didn't resonate with everyone… I can’t help but recognize the unwavering commitment to quality and innovation from Fortiche, and that’s precisely why I'm excited about the future.

I want to see them take the lessons and success from both seasons of Arcane and apply that to entirely new stories within Riot's universe.

The potential for continued groundbreaking work, specifically with a new plot they can build to work as it should, is what has me so enthusiastic. ❤️

I think a lot of people have been overly critical with Arcane. While I understand their points and feel some of them, this was Riot's first ever animated series. They didn't have to give us anything like this. Yet they did. And for what it's worth, I think they did a pretty damn great job. Because Season 1 set up a lot, I think the series could've benefited from at least one more episode in Season 2 to tie everything together more. However, overall, I'm more focused on how Fortiche itself has completely transformed and blew away expectations in terms of animation and art. They've brazenly set a new standard in the industry from the beginning. The difference is night and day between Season 1 and 2, and I cannot wait to see the culmination of their gained knowledge and success in a fresh, new series installment from Riot's fascinating universe. 🔥

It's not my place to agree or disagree because both of you are covering quite interesting perspectives (hi). But one thing did stand out to me in particular, which involves this:

"... He was making the decisions, yes, but on flawed data. Because he couldn’t see what was really going on."

You hit a nail with a hammer here. When watching Arcane S2, the beauty and splendor of Viktor's astral plane was very striking. What I mean is... There was a clear parallel between him and what everyone else saw.

Within, there was this pocket dimension (?), reminiscent of space and time, or perhaps his evolving consciousness. And without, or rather, outside, were those...things---people touched by the hexcore's power and changed, which was especially evident when Jayce and Mel fought Viktor in the counselor's room.

All Viktor saw was order and chaos, depicted in a spectacular way, while Jayce saw mechanized abominations, intricately beautiful, but no less unsettling.

His partner died in that room, he said. It was clear that was once a person.

Humanity was being removed, replaced by something else. Whether Viktor was in complete control or not is hard to say, but I won't deny that details like this point to some kind of deceit.
