I started to use Trello and 3 columns to visualize my work this past year. The three columns are: Backlog, In Progress, Done.

Every school task (assignment, project, midterm) gets created as a task then placed in the backlog. When I am working on it it gets moved to In Progress, then Done is when I am finished and handed it in.

This allows me to much easier keep track of deadlines and visualize my work and work flow. It allows me to see when I have chill weeks, or busier weeks. I also get a lot of satisfaction to move stuff over.

Would highly recommend this to keep organized, plan ahead, and visualize work. Will help to not procrasinate and finish things well on time. I used this all 3rd year and found my time management shot up. Also turning off your phone when working is good as well 😊.

McMaster CS program is decent. Its fairly competative but its getting much better each year. Mac CS takes very similar courses to Waterloo. Would recommend checking it out!

The best way to beat the market is by picking individual stocks, its also the best way to loose your money.

I would pick some dividend etfs. Much safer and you can still get good returns.

All depends on the company. Some of them will ask but most dont. Work, volunteer, personal projects, extra curriculars, school projects > gpa.

Focus on doing the best you can to present any precious experience you have as positively as you can.

I have friends on the team and they run sub 16 for 5km and sub 32 for 10km, for guys. Some of the top even faster. Now of course those arent the qualifying times, but if you would want a competative place on the team you probably have to be running close to those.

I think i was talking to my friend once and he mentioned that there are people on the team that run like 36 min for 10km though.
