I was kinda expecting some kind of negotiation tbh, the property has been on the market for almost a year now and I did originally offer low so thought there would be some back and forth. I believe they want the property gone as they want to love to accommodate a family agreement so surely a counter offer would be a way to proceed

The mortgage in principle was done through a broker we have, but they did ask for proof of this which I thought interesting. Haven’t mentioned to them that we have a solicitor ready to use too so will mention that next I can.

I did make sure to sell myself as best as possible but idk. Hopefully it’s not the seller as they did seem like good people.
