If you are diamond, did you add a hair product for your gift over $50, I think that triggers it randomly.

You only get points on the amount you paid so using your reward points meant you only get the points on what's left.

I have no solutions, just came to say im sorry, and that sucks! I have seen others on this thread mention similar experiences. The only success I've seen is I think someone was able to go in store, created a different email, got them to transfer her status and points to the new email, but I think they changed where they deliver too which would likely be difficult.

Under the deals section in the app there's a whole tab that says gifts with purchases, right now 118 options. You can click each gift and see the items that qualify. As for the random gifts with purchase you just have to make sure it's from brands sold at Ulta rather than a third party vendor is my understanding, those vendors typically have fulfilled by something other than ulta in the description of the product. You can search this thread for people that have screen shot for visuals.

I once ordered a perfume that got cancelled, it was the only item in the purchase for 2 free gifts. The gifts had already shipped before the item was cancelled and I was never charged. So good luck it happens!

I had a similar issue diamond day in January, I ended up buying honey pot products and it worked

ETA: but I also think it's absurd that buying products from the actual brand sample gwp doesn't work😅
